I love the idea of replanting little sampling oak trees. I saw lots when I was out walking today. I am going to give this a go and revisit them to see how they are doing 😊
I’ve been enjoying your videos dude. It’s nice to see a slightly different approach to the foraging video. It’s cool to see your numbers growing. Keep making videos man, they’re really good
Cheers mate, means a lot ☺️ sadly I can’t take full credit for the dock seed idea, pretty sure I saw Nick Weston down at Hunter Gather Cook do it haha either way it’s a beautiful garnish. Hope you’re well x
Love the video dude, for the future you might wanna find out what compounds are present so you don't keep repeating the "They contains lots of nutrients" line, highlight a main one used in pharmacognosy if present.
Thankyou dude, I always worry that people will be put off if I do a deep dive into the chemical makeup of the plant. I have been known to overshare 😅 Would you/ do you think others would find it beneficial?

wise words and thanks for braving the weather at home to make this
I’m a firm believer that weather always looks worse from indoors haha, I consider it a privilege to stand on my coastline in a howling gale ☺️🌧☃️
I'm a big Marsh Mallow fan! Glad you're feeling better, and looking forward to the live video.
Thanks Dev! I’ve got a slightly unusual festive drink recipe in the pipeline for the next couple of weeks.
I might have to get you to try it 🍻
@@Fieldstudy_ Oh yes, I'm always up for being a guinea pig when it comes to drinks!
Excellent.. love this guy. Sage advice
I appreciate that!
The winter salad with dock seed dressing sounds amazing. 🥗
It’s delicious, good olive oil and a little squeeze of clementine juice to balance out the bitterness. My mouths watering just thinking about it 😂
As ever, brilliantly informative. Also, you are so cute!... maybe I need some Mallow >.> ...
Cheers Jack 😂 Hope you’re having a good weekend
Hope to see the channel keep growing. This is great stuff.
I'll be back next time to feed the algorithm like the hungry, eldritch god that it is.
😂 Thankyou, your help appeasing the puppetmaster is greatly appreciated.
Great video, and thanks for the mention :). Love the pickled dock seed idea, not tried that but will give it a go

Hi guys is there any FREE foraging walls available in the uk ?
I feel like chucking some acorns at our dead high streets 😂
I didn't even know we can eat acorns! I was told as a child that they are poisonous 🤦♀️
