11:20 I love the Koine Greek Orthodox chant, its so lovely and poetic in this song. To think how the Imperial retinue and Emperor had the best geographical position to look to the East and West and see such beautiful days and nights.
@@esclavodelsistema9783 It is the first 6 verses of Psalm 103 (102 as counted by the Eastern Church): Praise the Lord, my soul; all my inmost being, praise his holy name. Praise the Lord, my soul, and forget not all his benefits- who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion, who satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s. The Lord works righteousness and justice for all the oppressed.
As a türk when i heard eastern prayers and divine mercy.I said Dude this is türkish music😅😅probably ottoman türks adapted byzantium music to their culture as many things😊its really interesting😊😊😊
There are no such things as good fortune or bad fortune, in just the same way there is no good or bad luck. So long as the dogs of Reason are alive in you, you will live a life doubled mindedness and be forever at odds with yourself 😮
I can definitely translate like 90% but I just don’t really feel like typing it all out. It’s mostly blessings and prayers tho, highlighting righteousness of Christianity. Most of what he says can basically be heard in any modern day Greek church where the priest is just reading/reciting from the bible.
Since you are wondering it says something like this in medieval/Byzantine greek : As has been said As i open my mouth being filled with The Holy Spirit i am going to speak about The Queen Mother (Mary) and you 'll see me rejoice and triumph as i take delight in Her miracles Holy Mother Theotoke (She who gave life to God) save us As the great archangel recognised your purity he brought forth an inpiring sealed book with your spirit and cried out : Hail You vessel of happiness , You who will uplift the malediction of our female forebearer (Eve from the story of Adam and Eve) That's the 2nd song
2. Easter hymns - Canon of the Akathist / Eirmos & first Troparion of Ode 1 "My mouth shall I open wide, and it will thus be with Spirit filled. A word shall I then pour out unto the Mother and Queen. I will joyously attend the celebration and sing to her merrily, lauding her miracles. Most Holy Theotokos, save us. O Maiden and Virgin pure, the great Archangel beholding you the animate book of Christ which by the Spirit was sealed did exclaim to you: Rejoice, O joy’s container, through whom shall the curse upon the primal mother be loosed."
actually Christan chants in eastern europe and eastern nations have this chant style. And this is actually the Orthodox christian chants sang by Byzantines themselves.
First of all the language is Hellenistic Greek. The common language of the ERE and up to 1980s in Greece. The Byzantine Music is just that, Music. That the whole repertoire is also prayers to Jesus, Mary, the Saints & Angels all of them, is just integral part of the Byzantine Music. If you ever visit a Greek orthodox church while operating on any type of event (mass, funeral, wedding, baptism, evening prayers etc) you will hear them. eg Eastern Prayer track start played bit of the "Canon of the Standing Hymns", which are the evening prayers (Χαιρετισμοί) to Mary mother of Jesus, that take place in churches every Friday from the first week of lent all way to the fifth week here is in full. The video bellow has also the lyrics. th-cam.com/video/Q7u1OAe78M4/w-d-xo.html

do you know the lyrics of that song?
@@esclavodelsistema9783 I'll do some research and ask some of my friends who dabble in Koine Greek. I'll upload a video with English subtitles.
@@esclavodelsistema9783 It is Psalm 102.

Gratitude and salutations to you dear Sir, your work is treasured and held in high esteem, many thanks again!
19:56 love the lyre starting to play, it's so relaxing and heart warming.
Thank You, Sir Ruben !
Wow the game put traditional instrument used by Eastern Romans themselves.

"winds of fortune"
Byzantium: Storm of unfortune

Does anyone have a translation of the lyrics? I don't speak Koine Greek.

"Now the Hosts of Heaven along with us [worship invisibly]"
4. Divine mercy - "Have mercy on us" (cannot identify which hymn it comes from)
May Jesus Christ reign supreme for All Eternity, Amen ✝️
Amen, Christ is Lord ✝️
Glory to God, Amen
Amen brother, Amen.
Kyrie Eleison
the lack of battle tracks is disconcerting
Mouhamed😊
I like it but half the soundtrack is desert moaning noise
It isn’t desert moaning it’s Greek church prayers
Kyrie Eleison
That's just stereotyping. You can do better than just assuming eastern melodies to be just desert moanings...
