@@twistedwizard9100 amen
King Crimson links is not working.
Did less just call Sean gay? Lmao ffs really dude?
I'm not sure if someone at FRB can separate the songs out and place the ads in an appropriate location, but ads in the middle of songs are BS. I used to listen to this concert on your channel a lot but the last several times, there is an add or two in each song. I'd also happily purchase a copy of this concert, and others you have recorded, if it is available.
This band is criminally underrated
well said man

Funny how every comment section has somebody claiming the artist is "underrated".
Anyone rating this band at less than a seven should be locked up, PERIOD!

I was fortunate to find this on youtube. this is the first time I heard Les and Sean play together.
I often wonder if I've heard the best music that I will ever hear. This video let me know that NO, at 74 years old there will still be new music out there that will be better than anything that I've ever heard.
This music is like the best stuff of my 1960's-1970's, but with 50 years of evolving. Man am I lucky.
Tool - Fear Inoculum, entire album. You're welcome.
@@jameshepenstall3900 I'll check it out. I have enigma. pretty heavy. I'm never getting the shot. Just maybe, the people who refuse to get the shot, will wind up saving the worlds population with their untainted blood.
what about zappa?

Since John Frusciante is back in the Chilli Peppers and their new album is done I’m super excited to hear it
So refreshing to hear some original music these days.
king gizzard, black midi, spirit of the beehive, tera melos, show me the body
those are some bands doing some incredible things, stop saying shit like that as if there's a lack of good music these days and look for it
theres plenty of great music right at your fingertips..its funny a lot of people say the music sucks these days, I guess there still stuck in the past and used to the radio and MTV telling you whats cool

@cookiepuss king gizzard rocks! Mgmt are doing great things as well!
@@gregd3551 no doubt
I can't tell where the bass ends and Les begins. He's a master. Sean is excellent as well. Great duo, wonderful music. They play off each other so well. Hope they stick together for a few more albums.
I think u said it all. Master, excellent, wonderful and great!
Just great to hear that distinctive Lennon nasal vocal style again in a modern 21st century music style but with a nod back to the psychedelic 60's. Good stuff
El acento Lennon!💎
he's so high lol
Sean sounds just like his dad
@XanthousRoom I would not say by far... and Sean is a way better guitarrist.
There isn't anything of the psychedelic 60'S and 70's! I know, I was there... LOL
Sean's voice, my goodness. John left a legacy greater than we knew.
It's like a mixture of Primus, Yes, King Crimson and the Beatles. Love IT!

More like a someone who doesn't know what they're talking about collaborating with someone who knows a bit about everything. Take it millennials 😂 It's all about money. I mean, do you honestly believe Shawn Lennon had your normal childhood.... Not saying music's not good though.
I lost count of the number of times I got the “Goosebumps” while watching this. Some music is so good that it sends chills down your spine and makes the hair stand up on your arms. Les has only become better over the years!
YES!!!!! EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. I've lost count of how many times I have listened all of the way thru in one session. ❤
I swear Les Claypool IS the hardest working man in showbiz today. He is in so many projects here and there and still has time to do this with Sean Lennon which has turned out to be a great pairing of talents.
Tony Levin is another one...
Buzz Osborne and Josh Homme, too.
Mike patton
Mike Patton.
Mike Watson-jones didn’t even see your comment before making mine.
I’m just blown away at how amazing Sean’s guitar playing is.
The best live musical have heard in years
Seans Voice adds so much magick to Claypools Killer rhythms. Their voices even compliment one anothers. This is absolutely Brilliant... Somewhere in the Universe John is smiling and Listening!!
This pisses all over Sgt Pepper all that LSD John took must have spilled into and scrambled up the DNA of Sean Lennon he's amazing....I always thought he'd be the one that was talentless and Julian would be the man having a tough background but Fuck that I Sean is amazing after hearing this album
Sounds just like his father, gives me chills! In a good way

When you go to a Claypool show you feel like your listening to a highly produced album, not a live concert. These guys are better live than most bands on the 100th attempt.
Ween is also superb live...
Um.. Nothing you just said was, at all, correct; & even if if somehow was - in an alternate universe - it didn't need to be said. They're a Jam Band, breaugh! 🎉
@@FortniteYy7635no they’re both extremely talented and unique lead musicians that leave room every song for them to improvise

I’m late to the party, just finding this. I am strangely moved. Incredibly moved by this. I am amazed at both the similarity Sean has to his father - and the originality he displays. It makes me think of what might have happened if John Lennon and Sid Barrett got together in the early 70s. This is just amazing. Thank you for sharing.
To me this is the mating of The Beatles, Jethro Tull, Pink Floyd, Les Claypools twisted mind and Sean Lennon's brilliance. Who'd ever think these two would be so well matched?
I would love it if Claypool ever writes a biography........gotta be some great stories about his life and music.
He has my friend. Just look it up I believe it's called over the electric grapevine and it's great.

Came in skeptical, left laughing because this is utter shit.
Came in excited. Forgot soon after I first heard they were going to collaborate. But was curious. First song is pretty rad so far
Les Claypool's bass tone is to die for! Just superb.
I completely underestimated Sean's guitar skill. Holy cow.

Dude, he's a wicked rocket. Straight to Mars.
He plays so well it looks boring

Woooow... as a musician and engineer, both film and music.... as I'm sure there are many of you here that can remember the 70's...... WOW! At times the sum is a variant a song the Beatles didn't intend to release because it wasn't them, and was,.... simultaneously. Just original and reminiscent of both artist and artist musical DNA. Just Incredible.
That upright bass is one of the coolest looking instruments I’ve ever seen.
I’m just discovering this INCREDIBLE band-omg. I have never heard anyone combine the sounds of Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin, Yes, Rush, Frank Zappa, The Beatles (of course) and many other top-notch legendary artists. Thank you Mr. Claypool and Mr. Lennon and your team. Excellent quality music and talent on that stage. Sean, your voice is sublime. Wow.
I've watched this entire video like hundreds of times by now. It's so amazing listening to this and watching this in a completely dark room while high. Very few things give me such an amazing almost indescribable feeling... I love this with every cell of my body
I'm on my 4th watch, I'm catching up son, but my weapon of choice is copious amounts of ale. This fucking rocks.

7 years later and I keep returning to this.... such a great collab. I hope to get another chance to see them live again.
This is absolutely the best captured Claypool show in years. Well done tech crew! This is a gem. These guys rock. Fantastic combo of musical minds. I couldn't make a live show and this makes me feel like I actually got to see one. Thanks a bunch!!!!!
Thanks for kudos, Brennan! We're happy we were able to capture this one.
Yeah, great capture, you really caught the atmosphere, great recording of a great show!
Yes, excellent!
Real talk. Heard his bass as a bass for the first time in ages. And this band is incredible.
Brennan Clark totally disagree, it's ok?? Would've been better with Julian Lennon....would've created so much more tension with the band, and would've been more sincere, in my opinion. Sir or Ma'am.
No doubt the best music I have ever heard!
Les Claypool is my biggest inspiration as a musician!
He is brilliant!
Sean Lennon is totally badass too!
Together Incredible!
Talent, communication, technique, virtuosity, curiosity, experimentation, expression, connection, creativity, personality, sensibility, sensitivity...all mixed and applied to the making of authentic and unique art. No machine, in 1.000.000 years, will ever be able to create something as complex and flawless. This is the best we can achieve as species.
Claypool/Lennon is the best songwriting duet since Lennon/Mccartney
This is surprisingly a good fucking show. Les is always a pleasure to watch but Sean's playing and singing with it created a really good vibe. Sean did get this melodic feel from his dad. I should check more of his stuff out.
I love this collaboration so much! I wish they would do a world tour.
I come back here over and over again for that beautiful version of southbound pachyderm. Then usually end up watching the whole thing.
This show, and the interview section for each song really adds a lot of insight to the writing process of the album and I really hope something similar is done when they tour their second album.

i love it when Super Creative Minds fuse and collaborate. Sean and Les have an Amazing sense of humility which (i believe) allows for more of the Art of it all to shine thru. i saw them in Philly at the Fillmore East. BRILLIANT!
This is what was going on in John's mind during the Beatles psychodelic days .

Claypool always sounds great. A LOT of it is in his hands, great tone starts there, but he's definitely got it dialed in on the signal chain as well.
Gawddamm! These two together are outstanding! I want to say something about John and how proud he would be, but I'm not sure its appropriate. Sean Lennons talent stands squarely on its own merits. And Claypool... forget it. He's a baaad em effer.
Favorite PsycheBeatle-thingie band by far. Really waiting for their next. I trusted Claypool's prowess, but never realized just how proficient Lennon is.
it's amazing how Les plays bass and lead guitar on the bass
Saw this live awesome! wish they could show the covers. Les Claypool has a knack for finding talent. keep giving Les you're amazing
I feel like out of all the side projects that Les has done, this is the one most worthy of a second album.
This is quite impressive and mind blowing. Way impressed. Cutting edge. Synthesist really adds. Claypool and Lennon absolutely kill.
I've been listening to their music for years. Sean sounds just like his Father John. It's about time we all embrace his mastery .

The rest of the show can be found as links below the video next to their respective tracks in the track list. This was an incredible show, and the production was/is on point! This recording definitely calls for quality headphones/sound system to correctly experience this incredible concert! Well done to all in involved! To the musicians...Les, I have been a fan since the 10th grade (1989) “Suck On This” and all the rest that came after, especially, “Sailing the Seas of Cheese”! To Lennon, Drungle, and Baldi you guys did something brilliant this night! Congratulations! I found this to be one of the best live concerts I have seen in some time! Bravo!
Their very unique unordinary voices melting with each other in a perfect way.
I think Sean finally found his musical Yoko equivalent to complete him with Claypool. Good for him!
First band in a long time that has completely floored me. The new album is fantastic too !!
Les Claypool is the most innovative Musician, who consistently raises his game working and playing today.
The atmospheric phenomenon known as the Claypool and Lennon delirium has just injected life back into the music scene like an old long lost friend bewildered in a forest surrounded by dead tree's until the wind blows and sends there voice back unto you and welcome's them back to reality/insanity.

I feel pretty silly. When I first heard these two I thought, "Man, he sounds so much like Lennon, it's uncanny. How did they do that?" That was a few years ago. Today I finally put it together while stumbling on this video (and a quick Google search). I could blame it on age, but I've always been a bit short on the uptake.
