I absolutely love this. I'll be making one this weekend. I love how you can move it for going undef trees. I was just telling my buddy I wanted to make one I could adjust when I go under trees.
Yeah it is a little tight on most rod holders. I did try a one inch pipe with a coupling on the end fit down in one of my rod holders pretty good if you know what I'm talking about.
two things, 1) do you think you could fit a fifth holder in there? 2) was thinking of adding (bolting? duct tape?) a 3 inch pvc pipe, maybe bolted to outer pipe coming from original rod holder holes, to stick the anchor when not in use.
Am sorry I thought I responded to you but I guess I didn't. I think you can add another one. they may just be a little close and that would probably work to add an extra pipe for the anchor on the side. Thanks for commenting.
Its hard to find one that fits perfect. 1" is to lose and 1"1/4 is just a little to big. One thing you can try is 1" pipe with a 1" coupling on the end of it. The coupling will fit down in the rod holder.
I did thos to my Vibe Skip Jack Kayak....added an accessory compartment, Go pro mount....ya done good , looks good..
Good deal It works good! Thank for the comments.

Best one I’ve seen so far👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Thank you It works really good. Thanks for watching!
Just finished mine, the plasty dip is a must! Gives a finished 👀
Good deal! It does put a nice finish on it.
I'd be interested in knowing what other modifications you have made to your ascend
Only other thing was I raised the set but I haven't made a video on that but now that you mentioned it I probably should do that lol!
That looks really nice. Good job. You've given me some inspiration.
Good deal thanks BIGTATER for watching.

Also about how high up from the kayak did you put your first fitting?
The first fitting is almost touching the kayak maybe just a 1/4" or so from it. Thanks for the nice comment.
Oh Matthew
Great video! I Liked the fish product!
Thank you I appreciate the kind comment.
Very nice. I'm finding the 1 1/4 pvc is too tight so I might try your torch idea.

@@Bamaoutdoors that's what I'm going to do. Thanks.
I appreciate the detail of this video! Thank you!
Thanks!! I appreciate the comment!
Finally found the video I was looking for
Glad it helped and thanks for watching!

Pretty good. The only problem I see is accessing your tackle that's behind your rods.
I only carry a minimum tackle in a backpack and I keep it in the front of the kayak. I usually have my cooler in the back. Thanks for the comment.
Awesome I like that idea gonna make me one for mine .
Thank you!! It works great!
Copying one right now! Looks great, thanks for the video.
Your welcome!! Thanks for watching!
and another great job 👍👍👌
Thanks!!👍
Thank you I’ll do that
Thanks for watching!
What size pvc fits in the exsistingnrod holes

I’have seen videos where they do the same 2 parallel cuts on the side that goes inside the rod holder and it fits tight
That's a good idea. Maybe a really thin cut would work good. Thanks!!
Awesome👍😂
Thanks!!
Do your rods interfere with your seat? Thanks
No sir it works good. There is some room for my small camera bag behind my seat too. Thanks for watching.
Bama Outdoors ok cool. I just got one likes yours yesterday, and this is the first upgrade I am gonna do. Thanks for your reply, tight lines.
I done a few more upgrades to it too. I really need to put another video together for it.
Bama Outdoors ok. I just subscribed to your channel so I look forward to seeing what you do. Have a great day.
Is the elbow a 45 or 90?
There is two 45's coming up from the kayak and then one 90 that joins it to the main part of the rod holders.
@@Bamaoutdoors thank you I’m at menards now
Anytime! Just remember that you need that on each side.
@@Bamaoutdoors yes sir got it now
Copied yours. Haven't glued it together yet. Went together great.
Great!! I really like mine.
You only need one rod champ … different rigs .
Simple . Americans love more and bigger 🤣
Yep the more the merrier lol we don't have time to change out anything just grab another rob.
