    Thank you so much Peanut! It was an honor having you on Vahagraphy Talk and getting to know you more. Say Hi to Mom and Pop for me and give them a huge ROCK N ROLL hug from me. That part was amazingly awesome. I watched it 3 times. This video inspires me to go out and shoot and create imagery. That bird at the end there with those dance moves. hehe. Have a wonderful day and god bless. Rock n Roll!!!!

      @@PeanutChuAdventures No worries at all. I am about 99%..... I have it in my cart, I get to the point of sending the payment..... then back off. LOL. I forgot how much I LOVE Nikon color, and that is how I found your videos. What I found when I was shooting the amazing Z9 is that everything is where it always is as far as controls. When i shoot my Canons, I have to stop and think before I start to reacquaint myself with the layout. Nikon hit an amazing homerun with this!!! I have not stopped thinking it about it since I returned it to the rental company. 🤗

    Peanut, I learned of your channel by watching the stream with Vahagan and Chuck. I've enjoyed your videos and subscribed. Yellow Crowns are an unusual summertime visitor around here. They are not rare but by no means as common as the black crowned or the green and great blue herons. I'm in the "Midwest" US.

    Clean and beautiful slow motion as always! I'm still trying to find a Yellow-Crowned Night Heron in the park I visit. We've got maybe 11 Black Crowned Night Herons, who come out either at dusk or during heavy rains. No mallards here yet, in fact my park has the fewest ducks ever as the water hyacinths weeds have reduced much or the open surface water, discouraging the ducks.

    That medium sized bird carries a big stick and you were great on the livestream by the way, hope you do it again sometime or join us on Chuck's channel. This Saturday night is our monthly photo review from people that follow the channel, feel free to send chuck an image for the show by Noon Saturday, the show starts at 9PM @ AP Studios. Love you work as always, the yellow crowned night herons are into fiddler crabs in my area. I see a lot of Juveniles but not many adults, the Black Crowned are much more common.

    • @PeanutChuAdventures
      @PeanutChuAdventures  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Hank, thank you. For action and birds in flight, I use the wide(L). For stationary birds in tight areas, I will use wide(s) or create a custom single box(this will track). I am planning to do a video on how I use the AF soon.

    I enjoy your video's and information you give about the different species. Your video quality is superb. I was wondering if you would do some videos on doing video with the Z. I have zero experience with video and I purchased a Z9 a few months ago and would like some information on how to set up my camera and proceed to learn the craft of video. Thank you for your great work.

      Hi Floyd,
      Thank you for your kind comments. You have read my mind. I actually just finished writing 3 scripts for “how I do video” and I was planning on filming the first tomorrow. What I intend to do is do short 5 minute videos that focuses on 1 top of video or setup. But in the meantime, if you want, I did create a long video on most of the topics needed to get started for video, you can bypass the beginning with final cut and go to the setups. I want to do short videos to make it easy to understand and I can explain more about each topic. If you have any questions to get started, send me email at peanutchu@yahoo.com and I would happy to help.

    Very nice Peanut! I enjoy your personalized storytelling style. I loved the interaction between the mallard and night heron! Great high quality imagery and I was impressed with the Z9's tracking ability for the flight shots. Curious if you have any plans to "upgrade" to the new 600TC?

    • @PeanutChuAdventures
      @PeanutChuAdventures  ปีที่แล้ว +1

    • @garfieldirwin
      @garfieldirwin ปีที่แล้ว

      @@PeanutChuAdventures Of course -- you have some really good long glass. Personally I prefer zooms for video (200-600 in my case) which allow you to continually adjust for framing, but the built-in TC on some of Nikon's models is intriguing.

    What part of the country are you shooting in?
    Thanks

    • @PeanutChuAdventures
      @PeanutChuAdventures  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Steve, thank you. Most of the video was done using 600mmf4, there was some flying shots done with 800mm5.6, no TC was used. This area most of the time 800 is to much to use and 600 is just right.
