Yeah I'm so pissed; last night on Facebook, MLF shared a clip basically showing everyone that Connell won Redcrest and there are clips all over TH-cam today BUT I CAN'T WATCH THE DAMN TOURNAMENT ANYWHERE!🤦♂️
I remember when MLF was on the Outdoor Channel... no it is strictly on TH-cam.
MLF had to cut their production staff big time. They only have 7 cameras to film with as well. That is the inside scoop from the AL Bass Council dude. I don't think anything went down on the Discovery channel. The only time I pay attention to MLF is when they are in Louisiana. I am very upset Crochet didn't get any pub for his 11 pounder.

Man I have a camp on Toledo and I'm on the lake at least 2 days a week. When any of these major tournament trails come to my home lake I get so excited to see their coverage because these guys are some of the best in the world and I learn something new every time they come. So for them to drop the ball this bad is a huge disappointment especially considering this was the one tournament I was waiting on. So it's pretty easy to say the hell with them!!
I agree with it being the first event of the season they definitely should have steamed the whole event. I can understand the rest of the season, but the first event smh 😑

Didn’t know anyone watched MLF , I’d rather watch BASS, ABT, TTT, AND NPFL any day over MLF. ABT already has been live on TH-cam. Heck I mainly watch Fish30 for tournament action and I live in Ga.

MLF was considered a "side hustle" between FLW and B.A.S.S. amongst fishermen at one time. I never really watched then as well as now, yet I drive by their "headquarters" in Kentucky every once in a while. My 2 cents worth. - Displaced Texan in Tennessee
MLF broadcast is horrible anyways . Nothing but fish catches . One angler after another. They have managed to make fish catches boring and routine. Watched a show last year for 45 minutes. They didn’t mention once what technics they were using or why they were fishing where they were fishing .

It’s boring now anyways. I watched today on the MLF app and it’s a bunch of dudes staring at their screens. I watch to be entertained and to learn, neither of those are possible watching the back of some dudes head for hours and hours. I’m out when it comes to pro tournaments, I’ve got better things to do with my time.

Anxiety of anglers like you were in the boat. I QUIT watching and following when they change the total weight RULL. They are done! It was nice watching bass fishing like a race. It’s boring now . The writing was on the wall when the Pros we all grow to like and follow quit MLF.

I did see little alton live streaming a go pro from his boat on his page, i know its not the same but at least it was something, not sure if others are doing the same but smart on his part and will have to see if they say something about him doing this

I can't agree more. Best 5 average 15lbs. Milliken had 31 on day 3 which is even harder in multi day event. Best five there u better catch them.

Mlf had budget cuts. Losing money.
Supposedly they cut Day 1 and 2 coverage so they could afford to cover a few new ones like the BFL All American and college and high school championships. And live streaming the team series this fall too. Doesn’t make a ton of sense to me and super disappointing - especially this last-minute surprise. My wife and I were both very disappointed this morning.
They had a press release on this back in October. They said they were not covering day one or day two except for in the Heavy Hitters and the Red Crest where all days will be covered. They added some live stream to the Tackle Warehouse Tour and all of the team series will be live next year.
I agree 💯 on the see decision to not air day1. Feels like Duckett has surrounded himself with "yss men" and no one will tell him when an idea is truly awful.

MLF is getting worse for the fans. Cutting Marty Stone makes the show worse. JT as the only commentator sucks. The new studio is rinky dink. Everyone live scoping on Toledo sucks. Very boring. I couldn't hardly watch it. They don't care about the fans. BASS added coverage with the Opens! Why is MLF cutting coverage to save costs? Losing fans and eyeballs costs them sponsors.
So what if outside of MLF we put together 10 boats and film and stream these guys live? Public waters could they say anything about it?

People who care to much about watching bass fishing are missing the point of life. I'm a bass fisherman and could careless about watching you catch a fish on TV. I don't even watch the classic going on just look at the results. I tell you where your passion should be is to get this excited about going to church and celebrating what JESUS accomplished on the cross.
Dustin Connell and Several others said the first day will not be live streamed and several of the anglers prefer it that way

I was really disappointed yesterday. I got madder when it took me an hour to find out they weren't streaming the first two days, via X. As you said, after a serious dry spell. Pro quality streaming was what separated them from B.A.S.S., And the fact that I could zip through 8hrs of fishing in three or four after work was a game changer when it comes to learning from these guys. But they will stream all of the tournaments for their league beneath the pro tour, maybe Tackle warehouse, don't remember. Makes no sense?
Hate to tell you , I knew it and its just the first day group a and group b then the rest will be on live. You know that they big sponsor was Balley Bet and they fucked not just MLF but MLB NHL also NBA. If this league goes down I think the BASS is next, simply because there are too many fishing and they can't possibly make it.

I don’t like Bass or MLF quit watching both. To me there are way too many pros today. 20 years ago you did not hear about all this drama. I would like to see Bass tour only but fish a regional type format. North,west, east, central, south, tournaments all year. Then take the best anglers from each division at the end of the season. 25 anglers at the end of the year fishing for 25 million first place on down. Then this sport to me would feel its on par with golf, tennis other sports. It just don’t make any sense to me how these pros don’t get paid what they should.

Cost cutting move, likely because MLF has been losing money. Worst thing- We missed an epic day of Jacob Wheeler fishing, who is likely to advance to the knockout round if he doesn't catch a fish tomorrow. Tomorrow we get to watch him practice. His youtube video on his first day should get more views though. I'm in the minority, but I prefer watching the every fish counts. Jacob has a habit of just "landing on them".
