My wife and I both very much enjoyed "Delilah Green"; so picking up "Make the Season Bright" seemed like a good call - just nabbed it. I enjoyed "Mistakes Were Made", too, but don't need to buy "Cleat Cute" as it was on the to-be-read pile already. As for "The Fiancee Farce", it is on the (very long!) wishlist. Other authors I've enjoyed recently in the f/f realm include Lily Seabrooke and Katia Rose. I also read a bunch of romance that's about combos than f/f, but you're perhaps less interested in those. :) For fantasy with an f/f relationship in it, "Legends and Lattes" was a nice cosy read. (Apologies if you have have this in one of your other vids - I haven't checked them all)
A good dystopian series I just read was The Badlands series by Kristin Keppler and Allison Bahney. Another good one is Hearing Red by Nicole Maser. It is a zombie apocalypse setting. I really liked these books!
I highly recommend A Curious Woman and A Curious Visit by Jess Lea. These books are underrated cozy/romance mysteries - especially the second book in the series. They take place in Australia and feel a bit like adult Scooby Doo.
Thank you for the reviews, I live in The Netherlands and wondered if I could order the books here. Just in case other sapphic ladies in my country want to know this: I could and have just downloaded the e-books. The paperbacks are also available, so for those looking forward to reading these stories, curled up on the sofa during our cold winter months, check it out and have fun reading.

Have you read Last Night at the Telegraph Club? It's a YA set in the 50's, but really good! And if you want something more adult/literary, I can recommend The Safekeep by Yael van der Wouden (was nominated for bookers prize 2024)
@@marijeU97 Also Donoghue's "Learned By Heart" - Anne Lister's first love at a girl's school. This and "Pull of the Stars" are not just light romance however. They have some gripping, heavy content.

It's not a spicy book but one of my favorite lesbian romance books was pride and prejudice and pittsburgh by Rachael Lippincott. it was so good and i literally read it in a day over the summer

As a person who has all these books and especially loves the audiobooks, you can listen to them on the metro…just be aware that you will be grinning! I specifically love that Meryl Wilsner enjoys not using the TAB trope.

My main problems with cleat cute were the internal monologue and that I really hated both characters for some reason 😅 just thought they were really annoying lol. No hate to the book, just wasn't for me, and I'm now wondering if I'll like her other book :)

I so thoroughly enjoy these book recommendation videos. (who am I kidding, I love them all! - The two of you are beyond adorable!) I wanted to say in reference to you mentioning the audiobooks, I've listened to all 5 of these and they are all great in audio format! It's amazing what extra flavor (and spice!) a good vocal performance can bring to stories like these... Congratulations to you both on your engagements!
If you enjoy age-gap romance (for recs 2 & 3 Boss-Employee dynamic and 3 also some bdsm) I recommend the 'The Senator's Wife' series by Jen Lyon; 'Pieces of Us' by T.B. Markinson & Miranda Macleod, and 'Boss of Her' by Anna Stone - great video btw. I totally agree with your reviews, my personal favorite out of those five is 'Mistakes were made'
Ashley Blake's trilogy is fantastic. The first book of hers that I read is 'Girl Made of Stars', which isn't spicy at all, but is really good. I adore her way of building characters. And I'll dare to recommend a series of books that are amazing, the first ones being quite spicy, the Micky Knight series by J.M. Redmann
Thank you so much! Your book reviews are amazing! The fantasy one was so good and I've only been able to read one so far, but I don't think it lasted even two days!
