I first came out to one of my best friends. She was pretty confused but I answered her questions and I think it went well. I came out to my other best friend who I have a crush on, and she came out to me like twenty minutes later. Sometimes it helps if someone who you are close to comes out first, but don’t be afraid to be the one who comes out first.

Most libraries have an online catalog that allows you to check out ebooks (if a digital version is available). You can read these ebooks on your computer, kindle, or cell phone without anyone having any clue.

I’m so emotional watching this video. Idk how old you are, but I’m 27 and I only came out in January so 5 months ago so technically I am a “baby gay” but also not? And I’ve been in denial/oblivious for years and these are basically all questions I ask myself and wish I could ask someone, maybe I’m putting too much pressure on myself but that last one especially, I came out as asexual first and someone was like “maybe you’re not asexual, maybe you’re just gay” and I’m like woah! However, I have been single since January when I split from my boyfriend so it’s annoying I can’t find out the answers I want as soon as possible maybe it’s just me? I don’t know, but this video was very helpful and very emotional for me because I’m the one that’s figured myself out “years and years and years” (how you said it takes people a short amount of time to figure it out vs year and years) however, I have known or had an incline since I was 10 but my lesbian friend was like “no you’re not” and I worshipped the ground she walked on so I believed her and I’d take am I gay quizzes bc I felt something was wrong with me. Idk I’m sorry for the blabbering, but this is technically my first “gay” questions type video I’ve watched because I watch lots of LGBTQIA+ TH-camrs (including mark ferris) however they’re just regular videos and this is my first that’s solely on sexuality so I’m sorry if this comment is a pain, I guess I’m just in shock and feel this video was for me so thank you!

12:15 a book advice from a fellow lesbian who reads 24/7 - get a kindle (or other type of e-reader)🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 i know alot of people prefer reading on paper because of the smells or the texture or just the whole vibe but having an e-reader as an option is always great (for ex. if you stumble upon a book that you feel like you'd absolutely love but the cover is super obvious).

Even though I've known I was a lesbian for the past 8 years and am mostly out and proud, I'm still glad I watched this video because even though, I'm not technically a baby gay (I think) I've never been in a relationship, never even kissed a girl (love and being completely vulnerable with someone scares me) I've been wondering a lot about these kinds of questions so thank you for this video
Thank you for this. I'm 18 and just recently realized I'm lesbian thanks to an online roleplay chatbot site (if that isn't the most Gen Z thing, I don't know what is, haha). It's going to be weird returning to university in August where everyone but me knew I was gay (in my defense, I was raised in a conservative, old money household and I have a lot of experience suppressing feelings). But it's also going to be freeing. Almost as weird as the fact I'm going to be a junior as I started college at age 16 and I could date a freshman and still be younger than her.

9:43 I don't think it's something that you really have to attach, in a way. Identity is more like finding something that's always been there. There's a sort of relief in finding what you are, so I think it's not really something you have to accept. It's sort of like finding a good friend, and just getting along immediately (at least immediately).
I remember when I dated my Best friend for the first time, I thought we were really in love but then I realised that we were better off as friends. Here I am two years later and after I moved on I find out that she still loved me and she has this huge breakdown, now stuff is really awkward.

About the books, i usually ask my freid with a suportive parents to buy books i want and then retern the money

Love these vids. I only 11 and I guess found out I was lesbian when I was 9 or 10. I came to my friends and I'm really lucky with my friends and family. It can be hard because I'm not out to everyone. People sometimes ship me with my male friend and I've met some homophobic people but for the most part it's fine. I kinda have a crush on my friend who is moving by the end the year so I don't really know what to, she's bi but I don't if she'd like me, and I probs couldn't do long distance at 11/12. Having someone you know to go to for advice is great! If you choose to talk to him, make sure you say it’s really important to you that he doesn’t tell anyone else. Being gay himself, he should understand 🤍
