But yeah I agree with you, that's one of the many examples of the lack of depth in the screenplay.

After watching the movie, I felt sorry for Senthan Amuthan, Poonguzhali, Vaanathi and Kadamboor Ilavarasi... Their parts had huge impact, depth and cuteness in the book... But Mani Rathnam destroyed it like Thanos destroyed half of the population in the End Game...Disappointing...

Ps 2 is great but if below these done well it's Extraordinary
1. If Vikram death needs to Impact viewers.. There should more Character art Scenes in Part 1 like some intense war
2. Last War sequence is Top notch but without some goosebump sounds it's just war.. ARR missed a Trick
3. Pandya Aavathu othavikal the villans are Good.. but if pandyas are Main villains other than real negative lead Aishwarya.. Pandya back drop should be more explored(showing one set of group as Pandyas is just not getting a vibe of Negative Shade)
4. Kundhavai should be used more in Tactics
