@JasonFolk07 kalk is generally added in with your ato. I have 2. 1 in my ato for precipitation and 1 in a doser at 50ml an hour. It keeps me at 8.3ph constantly. I also use b ionic but have been wanting to switch to this.

isn’t it carbon dosing tho? so if you have an ULN tank wouldn’t that not be good? I used it for a couple weeks and my rank did not like it. And honestly carbon dosing in an already low nutrient system sounds like a recipe for dinos!
Question, I’m using all for reef from powder . I mix it with rodi water very good so no powder left but in the sump cabin after some time it starts to form into nasty solids looks like calcium what people do with this?
Posting this on reef2reef would be a good idea, maybe there are some threads with these questions answers I haven’t dosed yet, but I would try to figure out what’s being precipitated, usually any build up of a solid after dosing a certain element into your tank means the solution is saturated. This can precipitate or form solids that are not used up in the water column.
I never tried their salt, sounds like that was a good choice. Sorry to hear about your tank. Their all for reef is a really good product. It’s super simple and it works but it sounds like you have your mind made up. I hope that you are still in the hobby!
@@KentuckyReef hi Chris yes of course I’m a hobbyist for life. Finally rebounding after a year trying to figure out what was going on. Come to find out it was the salt. Sad but moving forward.
Finally!.. someone creative & smart enough to take advantage of the looping in the 'Short' format. And a good script & edit in general. Nice work.
Hahaha thanks!!!
Could you explain why you only need to test alkalinity? Are the other elements irrelevant and high quantities?
Wow thanks … it also keeps that 70/30 split I heard . Solving the sodium chloride problem that is why I’m switching
Excellent!
Kalk is King tho right Matt!
Kalkwasser with some all for reef
Do tell more please? I’m clueless and wanna know more. Often do you dose the two?
@@alexescobar1970 two part is daily . I'm pretty sure kalkwasser is every other day or two depending on how much your parameters go down

@@DavidCasale watch you sandbed and make sure it does not get precipitation from all the kalk. Kalk destroys ato 4sure
My God! Thank you for posting this! You da man! I'm a noob on this topic. I watch your videos a lot! Keep em coming! 👊😎
Why do you only need to test alk?
Thomas always gets a 👍
Un a pico reef. 19 gallon. It”s necesary change 100% water if dosing?
How frequently to dose?
hi, best way to dosing alk before wc or after wc weekly?
I've used it works great
Can you explain how i just need to know my alkalinity to dose or not? My alk is 12.3 so haeve stopped dosing
Love it I use it in my 20 gallon and fluval 13.5 buy the powder its way cheaper

This solution rise up pH?
I have a pretty big refugium and am using the Triton core 7. would this be a good replacement as it is much cheaper where I live
Wait…why doesn’t everyone do this?

Becouse...?
...see my comment. ^ :)
I recently bought the 500ml and it looks yellowish brown. I'm seeing comments the liquid solution supposed to be clear.
Same here
Still waiting for tropic Marin to stand by their salt from turkey that destroyed my tank plus a lot of other. Thumbs down on tropic Marin for life!

Sealab 28 anyone?
It's actually not easy with the powder...measure 5ml for 220g 🤦♀️ Never should have purchased this.
