Nice find, $89.99 is a great price for 4R Barrel Proof. Great find at a lowkey, very unassuming kinda place by the looks of it. But u also found a few other good bottles at great prices too, the Bulleit 10 year, the Buffalo Trace sib store pick, etc. Love these bottle hunting vids, keep em’ coming!
The Ben Holladay is better than a lot of more expensive bottles for sure! I think the rickhouse proof is significantly better than their bottled in bond

😂 I live in Richmond and I buy all my bourbon in Lexington or at the distilleries. Pretty much everywhere here (especially Boozy Barn) jack up prices like crazy. Kroger is good if you're looking for regular release stuff. Anyway, glad to see you both down in our neck of the woods.

Great premise. The 4 Roses Single Barrel Barrel Strength are not that easy to find, unless you go to the distillery. I have been lucky to pick up 4 or 5 of them over an 18 month period, but I travel for work and have found a few out of my home state of IL. Evan Williams Single Barrel showing up in states other than KY. I bought a few bottles in IL 2 weeks ago for $36.99. 🥃 I enjoy the Lux Row Double Single Barrel. I got it for $90. 🥃
Really wish I could just get in my car the day and an MSRP four roses pick. They’re like unicorns here in central Indiana for some reason and one of my most sought after bottles. Would eventually like to have all 10 recipes too
The Holladay Soft Red Wheat Rickhouse Proof was $80 at The Party Source two weeks ago, so both stores had similar prices. But I wouldn't recommend buying it unless you want it for content. To me, it tastes like a grainier, hotter, and younger version of Maker's Mark Cask Strength, and I instantly regretted the purchase.
I'm legit surprised you found a Four Roses pick. It's definitely one of the hardest picks to find. I'm just happy to very occasionally randomly run into one. That being said, I definitely would have picked that up along with the Russell's and Elijah Craig picks. Also, Evan Williams Single Barrel has no business being that expensive.

I paid $75 at the BH distillery for the rickhouse SRW. This was a great video and the suspense was building if you would find one. Is it against the rules to go to the 4R distillery to get the bottle?

I probably would have paid the $200 for Weller Full Proof. I’ve never tried it, but I love the 107 and 12 year.
