I have been doing various ceramic flowers and experimenting. Great tutorial. I really like your innovation of laying the slab flat, cutting the scallops and rolling. Notably the extra rolling after removal of the excess clay is brilliant. I struggle with making the petals thin and delicate and that’s a great technique!
Absolutely brilliant! ...be careful not to use 13 petals if it's to be a wedding gift! I really appreciate you sharing all your secrets. Thank you, Karl... (with a K?)
Can’t you just roll out clay to the thickness you want and use a cookie cutter or something similar to cut out your round shapes? Easier and it should work? Thanks.
Great video. I really liked the fast pace. Thank you for sharing.

That's so nice to hear! Have fun glazing it :))
Amei a técnica de trabalhar as pétalas unidas na parte debaixo. E esticar com o rolo para afinar. A técnica mais rápida que vi. Obrigada pela aula.
