I could sit & listen to Paul all day..lived his life on his terms and still does...long may it continue and hope we keep hearing from Paul..🤠
Paul is one of the most legendary characters of the Thairish time🔝👏🙏🦾💛🇹🇭
Great story
I've said it before but wow I can never get bored of listening this fine man
He is rolled gold😊
Paul is a legend. I just binge watched all of his interviews with you. Everyone needs a character in their life like this. His story telling skills are something that can't be taught. Paul I hope you're reading this, you need to give us some more of your amazing stories! Looking forward to it!
Paul is your best guest. What a nice and fascinating gentleman.
Waiting for for this big time! Paul is my fave. He’s a boy! He has endless adventures and stories to share with all of us that think we know it all… but when hearing this man’s tales… you soon comprehend that we are still very much wet behind the ears still. Wow!
I can think of only one word for this guy, LEGEND
Paul is the old thailand we love ❤
Yes, it’s really changed the past 15 years. It’s not the same place anymore that attracted me.
Irish man living in Spain listening in ❤
Dia duit buddy
He's a amazing dude but I think he sometimes adds a little on but massive respect to the guy
The legend is back!
Thank you for spending a little bit of time with him. Elders often don't get many visitors.
Hope Paul will get very old, hopefully he can share more untold stories from his life. Thank you Pete!
Good for you Paul. You've lived a good life. Outside the box.
Paul wallis is as awesome as ever! Looking forward to more unknowns 😊
Me, my Thai wife and our daughter were living up in the Isaan region in 2011 when the floods occurred. We didn't have flooding where we were, but we had big problems getting baby milk for our daughter, who was about 1 year old at the time.
Love this guy!
That guy is amazing.......
13:28 I love, love your attitude about learning the language... Yes, Thai is a hard language, but learning it is worth it.
Interesting and educational, he's a force of nature Paul.
Nice one Pete.🍻
Life is what you make it. Paul has lived a life many wish they had. Get out there don't just think or dream about it. Your BEST interviews are with paul. 😅
He is such a positive , polite and honest person.
Paul is a legend
Paul you gem…❤
I come back only for paul’s interviews.. great storyteller! 😊
Omg Paul , my mate is back
I like this cat. Would love to spend some time with him and listen to his wonderful stories. I like how he described being alone and not knowing who, what or where and how much freedom that brings to a person. 😉
Its an addictive feeling
What an amazing life he must have lived 🎉
Great he’s back as he has the best stories. Legend.
Cheers from Taiwan 🇹🇼
I've seen all your interviews with Paul, he is a true legend and an inspiration to us all & throughout all his adventures, his never lost himself or used the blame game for his misfortunes, yet flipped them to positives, learned from them and built on them, taking the lessons and moving onto his next adventure!!
His attitude to life is where we should all be, not chasing money & material possessions, but living life and throwing caution to the wind, experiencing & living life the way it should be lived.
The universe always took care of him, just like it would us, if only we had the balls to take a leaf out of his book...
A really enjoyable interview which I can relate to living in rural Sisaket. Much more to life in Thailand than the bright lights of Sukhumvit and Pattaya.
The Legend, PAUL!!! and the other legend Pete!!!! finally headed out to Asia next week, Vietnam first, then finally gonna hit Thailand.. will see how long I last!! lol
Another excellent interview Pete .👌
Paul is a true legend love his attitude and prosperity.💯
It would be great to listen to Paul talking about his spiritual life
He reminds me of one of my long time friends I sailed with on ships for 20+ years. I bet the stories he could tell ya are fascinating. I love conversations with the old timers. They tell you as straight as it gets.
Paul Wallis is a great storyteller. I love your interviews with him!
PW is such an interesting character.
One of your best Peter
The best
would love to read a book written by Paul
Paul is a legend!
I like Paul a lot. When I see him I get reminded of movie "Pirates of the Caribbean" and Jack Sparrow
True! The bloke has done his reavin', entered risky straits and yelled "THERE SHE BLOWS!" more times than any of us. 😂😂😂
Right. They can have a competition on who has the most STD's between the 2 of them.
😂Lol 😂😂😂
@@Seedpoppa561 ... Congrats on yout outcome
Love listening to Paul, he makes me excited to one day retire to Thailand.

My grandparents inherited a couple of terrapins that floated through in there pond during those Bangkok floods

I always enjoy Paul. Thanks to both of you!
great interview with Paul
Thanks 😁
I’ve watched all Pete’s videos on him and I’ve enjoyed seeing him again.
My first thoughts were a decrepit person overstaying. How wrong I was.
He knows the script.
The Legend is back! Looking forward to watching more from you both
Pete, Again a nice interview with a sympathetic man mr. Paul. 🙏
Absolutely interested, I would love to know his life story. It's the bliss I'm intrigued by.
Love it
Another interesting interview with Paul. I’ve only meet him once but it’s something I will never forget. He’s such an interesting worldly chap, full of stories and exactly the same in real life as he appears in these interviews.. He was a guide/interpreter for a sak yant Ajan master, that’s how I met him and I’m sure some stories related to this would also be really good to hear!
Thanks for sharing Pete and keep up the great work mate 🙏
Wow I think I remember you sir!
Of course, I remember you sir, the name wasn't a giveaway. Hope the kickboxing school is going well.
Any chance you could link all his episodes in Chronological order for other followers of your channel? I didn't find it easy trying to get them together but maybe I'm just an oldie.
Dudes incredible
Classy notes Pete😀
Beautiful Area
Yay! Paul again!! Love to hear his stories.. thanks Pete to bring him back again..
Thanks Nok, Paul will definitely be back
Paul is such a great guy . His Thai adventures are legendary. He’s so likeable and you could sit there having beers listening to him for hours. Great to see him in a vlog again really good fun . Cheers Pete
Cheers Jimmy mate 🙏🙏
Good to see the auld boy still kicking.
Hi Pete. I am a long time follower and I am not tech savy . I was trying to find the interview you did with the guy who spent 3 years in a thai prison. It is and hands down your best interview
That's a BIG shift Paul.
I'd question his reasons for selecting it over other regions in Thailand.
Great work Pete, hello from Koh Phangnan!
Great interview Pete. So nice to hear from an expat who isn't living in tourist central. When was this recorded? I thought you'd moved back to Ireland.
Nice one gents chok dee 👍
Great life
Was in the Phillippines in 2011, while Typhoon 'Sendong' did strike. Saw many bodybags those days in Cagayan de Oro.
Anyway Paul, as i said before the book 'Dignified Dying' is a good one!!
And Pete wonder how your story will be 100 years from now??
I had a beer with Paul 10 years ago in Pattaya. Tell him "Hi". The gal serving drinks allowed me to kiss her on the cheek but she didn't allow Paul to kiss her. That's how he'll remember me.
sound is good for me
I've lived most of my life on the Gulf coast where we deal with hurricanes and flooding. It renews my faith in humanity when we're all sitting here up to our asses in alligators and no electricity but people band together to help each other out. We are great for the generator manufactories.
Guess who’s baaaack 🤣
A cool bloke.
I enjoyed listening to Paul. As others have said he's a great storyteller. And I don't mind if he embellishes a little bit, he kind of has that right. I did take exception to your body language and wearing sunglasses during the interview. You seem closed off and not really into it. Paul didn't seem to mind, so I won't either.
Snake could feed the village lol....
I will sign up for the tea bag membership and my buddy is curious about the Lucky Charms membership
This is not the channel for tea bagging but the Lucky Charms membership is 5.99/month😂
@@ThairishTimes oh dude good answer 😂😂✌️

I can't remember this one 555555
Can you kindly guide us, I am thinking of visiting Thailand, and I am thinking of starting from Chiang Mai and then to Bangkok's surrounding area. Needs information on Transportation,Hotel, and safety. Thanks
I have been in Thailand in Thailand 14 times out of 17 years and understand most about Thailand. If I can answer anything for you I would be happy to help you. Thailand is truly amazing and it has something for everyone.
Is he still live on visa after many years or he got permanent residency?
You guys are the BEST MATES just wish Steve would put a GOLD CAPPY on to save the last Jewel of Siam
Lucky you. The military never arrived at my place.
.. hes not lying about that snake!!.. about 10 years ago I saw the same thing while out on a bicycle ride. A massive snake (python) crossing the road. Cross section size of a basket ball.. They`re out there for sure.. lurking.. 555+
