I'm a believer. But I'm biased. I'm a big time Huskies fan too. I truly believe that Grubb will grow, especially over the off-season. This year had to be overwhelming for him. But he has so much film to be able to break down and the playoffs to watch from the perspective of an NFL O.C and just continue to taylor his system to the NFL game and his player personnel. Go Hawks!!!!
@@FatherFirst Absurd. He’s paid $2m a year to do a job. He’s inept at NFL level and multiple years to learn the job adapt or whatever other horesh*t excuse anyone wants to come up with is unacceptable. He’s a DUD, and it’s time to go before any more of our assets get hurt even worse
@gmichaelhall I'm so glad people like you don't get to make decisions at the NFL level. Because you would be inept at building a team from the top down. Your lack of patience speak volumes to how much you know about coaching. It's not an easy job.
@ I’m just not a weak minded person with underwhelming expectations of from extremely well paid staff. The is professional level management of assets and resources 101. Your pop warner mentality is how losers wind up coaching losers. It’s a lead follow or get the hell outta the way mentality. Grubb got to trade in currency above his ability because he happened to be around when an extraordinary talent walked in off the street. I hope he enjoyed his cash grab but it’s time for the real coaches to take over. Best of luck with your sports midwife mentality ✌️
We don’t have the luxury of coddling our coaches or players, rookie or not. This is a tough game, and we have the most passionate fans who expect to see REAL football. Sure, time can help with growth and development, but without true passion and commitment to winning from the start, we’ll remain stuck in the same place year after year.
Once again clearly evident through his words, and not just on film, that Grubb prioritizes chasing explosives, rather than consistently moving the ball down the field through more balanced play calling. Calling games where you dial up 11 pass plays in a row ain't gonna cut it next year, if there even is a next year for you.
They need an offensive identity. Maybe that comes with better o-line play? Probably not all on Grubb, but not entirely on the players either. But you’re right, play calling gotta be better. It looked like he tried something new every drive/game/quarter instead of building a game plan. Maybe that was the plan? Take the flim of the entire year as a measuring stick? Am I being too patient with the coaching staff? it’s only been a year!
Mike is a defensive coach. Having a pass happy offensive coordinator is counter productive to a good defense. Passing to open up the run is backwards dog shit
Man there's so many ignorant fans in this comment section. Lineman take time to coach up, we have young guys. In my opinion you could see improvement in line play at times. Give this staff another year with another draft and free agency we're going to be really good! Go Hawks!
I seriously doubt that. Fundamentally he is the polar opposite of what MacDonald keeps saying he wants from his offense. Grubb and his 7-8 plays are done in Seattle. I wish him well but glad it’s over
Seahawk fans, is this guy getting fired? Everyone in Tuscaloosa thinks he’s coming to coach the offense with Jalen DeBoer. What are your thoughts? Appreciate you all!
Why does Geno have so many cadences and audibles that don't work or directly contribute to penalties? Is that on both of them because one of the biggest problems and most frustrating things to watch in particular this season is they can't get the ball off when they are having success down the field and having momentum shifts. They inevitably shoot themselves in the foot in just about every game this season with these "cadences" and communication issues as well as changing the play calls. It's incredibly obvious and it's not fooling anyone on D!
He says taylor the system to your guys, while most his calls are pass plays put of shotgun with a bad oline. Calling 19 pass plays in a row with Sam Howell was inexcusable
All these fire grubb clowns are the same ones who are saying keep Geno cause its the oline. If Genos staying because of garbage oline play.... then Grubb stays.
Keep grubb give this man time. It was his first year in the NFL you can’t expect him to be the greatest OC to ever coach. He will learn and grow from this just needs time. Seahawks passing game is still in the top of the league that was his effect we need to be more balanced and I believe he will get us there. Give him time please 💚💙🙏🏽
I hear you ☹️ I'm pretty sure we have to keep him for another year, and I hope he doesn't wreck the team. I know this is his first year being an OC in the NFL, but I don't get why he didn't improve much at all across the season. Mike, first time head coach, massively improved the defense. He's relying on Grubb to do something with the (very skilled) offense. He better do better next year....
Our season is over thanks to his inability of running the ball and being so predictable, worst hiring ever hopefully he’s gone this year and John Schneider is next
@@mikeygaming9402I honestly think the crappy play calling is so transparent that the OLine doesn't have much of a chance. I'm not giving them a pass, although they got a little better. But if the opposing team knows exactly what we're doing 90% of the time, everyone looks bad☹️

Would love a veteran OC, but I think we'll have to have faith he and the roster will improve next year.
Keep Grubb. I think everything is fixable and I'd hate to lose him ❤
We need to keep grubb it will be better next year
Give this man some legit players up front please and a bruiser running back.
I can go either way on Grubb, offense ranks about middle of the league and hard to say we have the talent to be much better
Deserves a second year, no doubt, 10-7 first year coaches in the nfl, only up from there
Best wishes Grubb. Keep throwing!
Need to grubb on the run game a bit more next yr!!

Let's try a new offensive line coach huh, gotta develop these kids!
1 year with players he inherited. Terrible O line. And probably 10 wins..Grubs not going anywhere.. give it a rest.
Geno?
sad he didnt get a second season with a decent oline
Honestly no offense to huff but I think keep grubb and get a new oline coordinator and draft some dogs on that line
Grubb and his "explosive play calls" can't even get us field goals attempts 🤡
If you want to focus at the end of the session on something you suppose to do that on regular session,c'mon man
I would prefer someone who runs the ball more honestly.
You never got tyler the ball. Yet you wanna praise him. Fire Grubb
So… run game issues were: o line consistency and scheme complexity?? Sure. Not empty set gun snaps and throwing 75% of the time… Got it.
If it's not better next year, Grubb will be gone. Also, get rid of Geno so we don't stay in mediocrity.
Not sold on this guy at all. We need to learn how to run the football. 2 dynamic running backs . Do better..
Grubb puts no fundamentals to running the ball. Passing heavy is fancy tanking
Grubb is staying. If Geno stays expect similar results next year!
70%? More like 90% if you count the interceptions
Professional tankers = Geno and Grubb
