Shallower lakes don't have a turnover. Crystal clear lakes if not that deep don't have a turnover. Shallower bays in a lake don't turnover. Just say visibility is 3 to 5 feet. Depth of lake is 25 foot. Your thermo cline is gonna be hovering around 18 foot. Clearer lakes won't have a thermo cline and won't have a turnover. U have to know the lake your fishing. Good rule of thumb is just watch the weeds. If there's still green weeds musky will hold to them. Once there completely dead target steep break lines
Thanks. That’s the best explanation I’ve heard discussing turnover. I subscribed 🎣
Thank you Rob!
Was wondering if the Muskie shop ever replenished the spanky lures Ordered a few last month and some black were out of stock.

Hot Tips! Thanx 4 Posting!!
If the bait fish are large perch and pan fish... why doesn’t anyone fish live bait rigs of perch or gills?? 🤷🏻♂️
Its illegal to use panfish as bait.
Not in Wisconsin, or a lot of other states as long as they are of legal size and counted towards your bag limit.

Bolger Lake.….not much turnover there!!??
will they strike if weeds is stuck to hook i usually remove weed as soon as i see it
Sometimes, not often. They will more likely follow with weeds on a bait!
I’ve had more luck with weeds on it than without statistically speaking this year
Thanks for the tips!
