Stela is a cinematic, atmospheric platformer about a young woman witnessing the final days of a mysterious ancient world. Overcome daunting challenges, treacherous terrain, and gargantuan beasts while traversing a decaying land. Manipulate the environment to solve elaborate puzzles and creep past dangerous creatures under cover of muted landscapes, all set to an original soundtrack. Survive sweeping environments including mysterious towns, haunting forests, and massive subterranean ruins brought to life in an atmospheric experience.

This is like a mix between Limbo, Little Nightmares, Inside and Unravel...very interesting.

Dont forget Gris. There are some very strong Gris vibes in certain parts of the video.

The kind of games where you just hold forward and they call it 'gameplay'
@@cipher0334 they are more experiences similar to interactive movies, but still videogames, they are simply focused on plot
@@drawerpunk I do understand why some people may like that interactive narrative style but I personally don't think they add anything to the gaming landscape. Mostly because the small parts of gameplay that are in them are awkward and take away from the overall product. To each's own though.
@@cipher0334 Well can't you let people enjoy things? My dad loved Limbo, Inside and Gris, especially Gris, can't he or others like him just enjoy some games even though he isnt all that skilled?
@@cipher0334 take it for what it is, entertainment, they are just games for who love to chill in a story, not all people loves disturbing and horror stuff in a frenetic splatter, maybe visual novel or games like this could fit better in a tv series, in a movie or in a book but we have it in a game because probably the idea was from a person who works with videogames studios or whatever (also not all people with good ideas can afford an expensive cinematic production)

This is the first time I've seen a trailer for a game and before it was over I'm grabbing switch to buy it. That looks fantastic
The use of light and layering looks simply fantastic! Interesting and refreshing way for the gameplay mechanic that this game will have.

Seems interesting. My only pre play critic is that is a really small "sprite" to have on a small screen. Even Ori is bigger and that was already so small.

Looks like a great game to check out. The soundtrack will be intense. Curious as to how this will play on the Switch Lite though with those far away camera shots. I really really hope it can be moved up closer, or I won't be able to play it on my Lite.

Nice! Hey, anyone remember “Lost In Shadow” on the Wii? That was one of Hudson Soft’s last releases before Konami, er, retired the brand. Kind of reminds me of that, minus the swordplay and the 3D space excursions.
This looks like a Playdead (Inside, Limbo) game with Yorda from Ico as the main character. Cool!
Interesting atmosphere like Shadow Runner for Wii... want it!

Of the 2D puzzle platformers like this, my personal favorite is The Missing: J.J. Macfield and the Island of Memories. I'd like to see that game get more love.

Tried it once on apple arcade. It's definitely like Inside with different theme, too bad it's a short one.
This just reminds me of limbo witch I never played I just say a tide bit of gameplay of it but this game looks cool to I might give it a try

Played this game, honestly the soundtrack, the sfx is top notch, the game particle add some to it. However i prefer the ios version since the graphic is drastically worse on switch unless you turn up your tv docking.
