Great footage, the use of the unpainted shell was a great idea as it showed a really nice wide angle and it was fun to see the diff working through the cups too.
pretty cool. I actually hate onboard camera views. I see it a lot on off-road trucks/buggies. but this, placing it under a clear shell, and the whole on-road track thing, WHILE chasing another car, well, this is a nice video. I like it a lot. good job and nice driving. it was like being in the car racin it myself.
I know this comment 3 years old but I agree I've tried getting onboard footage on off road stuff and it's really hard to get a clear video where the camera isn't shaking around making the whole trip burry this was very well done
i was on track today and the xray t4 is one of the best touring cars! its great to work in a race because its very durable. and easy to drive compared to like a tamiya touring. depending what model you have. great onboard vid though!
That sir, was very impressive driving! I myself drive an 1:8 14V buggy, Stoke E, but still i know that thias kind of driving takes some practice. thumbs up!
you pare welcome.. im thinkin about getting an Xtray t4 or t4. Do You think it can be modificated to a RALLY car?* i mean jumps and all? enough ground clearance possible?
I basically had my gopro mounted to the battery... I was driving line of sight... The car is your basic X-ray t4.... Very good out of the box and have never broken 1 part on this car.... I probably spent a little over 1k$
and. ..... I liked seein how the belt was affected by the G-forces. THAT was pretty cool as well. at least I think so. now I'm gonna go watch Hilary Clinton fall down some steps. lmao
+aaron collier Honestly I haven't driven any of the other touring cars.... And while they are probably just as good I have never broken any parts of my Xray.
Too much camber. Those lines in the inner side of the tires form when there's too much camber and the weights riding on that small portion as the tire folds over the side of the rim... If that makes sense.
Ok, I know what camber is and what it does. Trying to explain the dynamics on a model car vs a car is almost comparing apples to oranges. Real cars and model cars wont behave in the exact same manner. While what you say is true... tire wear on a model car with foam inserts will wear differently than a real car with air in the tires.
Don Polk but there's a reason rc cars have many adjustments that are completely derived from full size cars - they follow the same principals. Also, I know tires with foam inserts won't behave the same as air filled tires like full size cars, that's why full size cars with too much camber don't get a groove like that.
Great footage, the use of the unpainted shell was a great idea as it showed a really nice wide angle and it was fun to see the diff working through the cups too.
Great video, great driving. Gives you a whole different view on TC racing.
EPIC F.P.V. man, thanks for the AWESOME RIDE !!!
I think that may be the coolest rc vid
Ever👍
wonderful footage. Gives sense to the words "pretty good speed impression"
This is ace, watching the cars moving parts as much as watching the track footage.
Coolest thing I've seen this week! ;)

greenstx thanks, I was curious as to what it like too. The weight of the camera threw the balance off a little but overall I think it came out ok.

Awesome footage. Nicely done.
best view and video I seen of rc racing on youtube! great idea

Nice video! Cool battle
bel video,e bravo pilota!!!
I love my x-ray t4
sick vid!!
Boost is a form of dynamic timing advance adjustable in the ESC, not allowed in stock 17.5 class though.
it looks like a real life race in fast forward!
Dude this is sick. Now I'm wondering if I should run a clear body so I can do this....
Are you using tire sauce for this? If yes, what tire sauce are you using?
I’ve always wondered what a motor sound like from upclose while a car is going fast and now I know
How did you mount the camera? I assume to mounted it to the body right?
what a great idea
ok thank you, you use the stock support of the go pro to attach it on the battery ?
Thanks
What's your cars top speed? Looks pretty quick.
Nice vid! good idea to have the camera underneath the shell! I would like to do this with 1/8th scale. Which camera did you use?
Nice upload mate!
cool video,im trying to build brushless converted power racing xr80
Excellent footage sir.
Thank you sir
Nice driving too. I run 1/5th scale gas, but have been fascinated with the road course cars.
cool video you posted
I go there all the time on Sunday's
i like it, verry cool :-)
VERY CRAZY DUDE!!!!!!
what kid of camera are you using ?
More of this please
Hi, how did you attach the gopro on your T4 because I've a TC5r and I'd like to put one on my chassis
Yes, and Im using a battery hold down from Reflex Racing
What up don, its soap. Cool video bro.
Very nice
Wow bro kick ass t4 hey bro I just ooe
What’s your ESC and motor

This is Mike's up in Porter?
what esc and motor you use
Wow bro that's fast ass shit hey I just order the Xray t4 2016 can you help me with motor an Esc , resever all that???
Wow sa accélère fort
Boost can only be done with brushless sensored motor/esc combo.
That sir, was very impressive driving! I myself drive an 1:8 14V buggy, Stoke E, but still i know that thias kind of driving takes some practice. thumbs up!
Thanks man 👍
you pare welcome.. im thinkin about getting an Xtray t4 or t4. Do You think it can be modificated to a RALLY car?* i mean jumps and all? enough ground clearance possible?
Vex X maybe, sorry for the very late response
Don Polk
allright man.. how much did u spent in that car + cameras transmitters etc? just curious? ^^
I basically had my gopro mounted to the battery... I was driving line of sight... The car is your basic X-ray t4.... Very good out of the box and have never broken 1 part on this car.... I probably spent a little over 1k$
Prob head to mm Thursday to check out tc,
This RC use 2s to play?🤔
Nice driving B. Was your 17.5 boosted or non, because I didn't hear the whined on the straight?
Im xray fan
xray is so gooooooooooooooooood
Liam Chadwick nope
To expensive for what you get
Thunder Power 17.5 and Hobbywing V3
what ESC, you use? and tires?
+Alfonso Ibarra HobbyWing ESC and I believe sorax tires
with an extra weight, you were still able to get close of that orange car. you could have been 1st if go pro is not there hehe
I have it mounted to the battery.
Mod or stock
sup bro, long time no see...
Dude would have benifited from a 2 speed transmission for sure.
blue/white car that passed @ 3:00 Christian Tabush... me and the orange car was battling for 4th position :( so needless to say we got lapped.
wow street rc cars are a lot faster then off road or is that just because no jumps?
Has a lot to do with gearing, weight, and level of grip.... and it helps that there are no jumps ;)
there not always faster, depends the class/motor, weight, gearing, etc.
That blue & white car came out of nowhere and ran smack out of sight and then u wrecked...
Yup that would CT, he is crazy fast... I can't beat him on his worst day :(
What is top speed..
About 30 something with a 17-turn motor and 70 something with a 4-turn motor
Haha midnight club racing irl
what brushless system?
hobbywing esc and thunderpower 17.5 motor
Don Polk thunder power are the best sensored motor in my opinion never had problem with mine
13.5t?
17.5 I think
no boost, i posted another vid, 4.5 boosted
ahahahaha Duelling 0:57
?
So cool! Until you got lapped....
gopro hero3
and. ..... I liked seein how the belt was affected by the G-forces. THAT was pretty cool as well. at least I think so. now I'm gonna go watch Hilary Clinton fall down some steps. lmao
I have this car
Or eny 1 that knows or has 1 a t4 2016 Xray
Its a gopro hero3
+aaron collier Honestly I haven't driven any of the other touring cars.... And while they are probably just as good I have never broken any parts of my Xray.
aaron collier Yup I still have and all its original parts... Thanks for the compliment.
Its Electric
Wow how much bro that fucking flys bro tell your apps on that
???
Too much camber. Those lines in the inner side of the tires form when there's too much camber and the weights riding on that small portion as the tire folds over the side of the rim... If that makes sense.
Not too much camber, I run no more than 2 degrees in the front at most. Its just normal tire wear.
Optimal camber is when the tire wear is somewhat even, that way you know you're taking full advantage of the surface of the tire as often as possible.

Shut up Christian
Help help motor Esc or combo kits help me damit
Tight video, I think you are under geared by about 5 teeth tho.
