I've never understood that logic. In my situation, my fiance coming to the US to visit is the most feasible way for us to spend time together during the incredibly long visa process. This SHOULD represent our good intentions of building a true meaningful relationship but instead its viewed as a "trick" we're trying to pull so she can stay here permanently. Thats just so bizarre to me...I don't know anyone who'd wanna risk their immigrant visa success by overstaying on a tourist visa.

    Good morning
In a situation, you where turned back by the embassy official because you came late for your appointment time and never reapply because it was to close for your program, will that have any effect on this situation?

Hi. I already file a k1 visa as a beneficiary and i already have a turist visa. If i stay in the US for 5 months (im allowed up to 6 months) could they deny my k1 visa because i stayed too many months ? Or wouldn’t affect it since i never overstayed ?

Is it possible to apply for a B1 visa for my lady to come to America for x amount of time, then after visa she goes back to her country and then I can apply for K1 ??? Only asking because this would eliminate me having to leave tha USA to meet her in a visa free country in order to apply for k1... Thank You!

It depends yes, but each case is a snowflake. Probably the only reason a consular officer would deny a K1 if you were previously denied a NIV is if you lied. Everything else is speculation.

We had a tourist visa denied for not enough evidence he wouldnt stay there. Applied again, he mentioned we wanted to get married there with my family, visit other family and show him America, but was denied again because they saif uf we wanted to marry there, we had to file for Fiance Visa whuch is what we have done. We didnt want to live there, just spend a few months to get married and visit family. We didnt file for the Fiance Visa from the beginning because it states : For those wanting to live in the US. So now we will live in US so he can get green card! We want Dual Citizenship! US/South Africa!

I was denied tourist visa twice in a row before we applied for my K-1, nothing ever effected me, there were no questions to me about that, these are absolutely different kinds of visa, why would that effect K-1 or CR1
