You can solve the last 3 corners of the clover pyraminx by doing commutators. What you don't realize about that puzzle is that it is actually a 3x3 mod, and so that 'jumbling' you are doing is actually just like turning a 3x3 90 degrees. Like so he can see!
You could always stream yourself speedsolving a non-WCA. I've thought it might be fun to speedsolve a puppet cube, if I get like... really good at solving one at all
