I wonder if you could combine some pieces from all three, so that sometimes you can makes 180 degree jumbling turns, sometimes 90 degree turns, and sometimes 60 degree turns. That would be awesome.
On a normal Skewb you would be correct with the statement that you are proposing. If you have the time take a look at the Skewb Extreme (SE), in a case of the SE, center turning is important in terms of having a complete solve
@@damainplayer3005 I may have expressed myself too vaguely : ) You are completely correct about the fact, that the "center" can be rotated. My point was, that you can only rotate that piece by 180 degrees, but never by 90.
I bought the maple leaf skewb when it first came out so I was prepared for these. The first 2 I solved with no problems. The third puzzle took me a long time to figure out the last two half circle pieces.

the only problem i have with this puzzle is that the new mechanics dont interact with the original mechanics at all, so it's more like 2 puzzles in one. i would prefer a puzzle that adds to the original mechanics and allows for unorthodox scramble states
Well if you think about it big cubes are also like this because most cubers solve them by doing a step irrelevant to 3x3 first and then solving like 3x3 (except parity I guess)
Id like to see the WCA look at these and their thoughts on these id like to see an event for the mixup 1 because the two and three are quite complicated
Hey, I have a “cube” that I don’t know the name of. It has a normal 3x3x3 center, but on four sides, it has a 3x3x2 (3x3 attached to the center 3x3x3 sticking out 2 rows.) The overall shape of it is a giant plus sign. I was wonder if you knew the name of this “cube” or knew of a tutorial video on how to solve it.
What is better, the cubicle or sCs? The first question is, which has the better lube? The second one is, which has faster shipping? The third and final one is, which one has better customer service?
Yeah, it was actually pretty similar to the second one, just with more pieces. The hardest part is figuring out how to cycle around the pieces to fix the last two circles.

How about 1 degree turns?
My guess would be that in the future they might come out with skewbs that would have combination like what you're saying but on a more bigger scale
That would be a Skewb Mixup 6 then.
There is no purpose since the 3rd can already do all of the turns
Maybe it could make it more confusing
Hmm idk

These skewb mods do be crazy tho. Well not the mixup 1
Yo why’s your middle name my first name.
i know I am pretty randomly asking but do anyone know a good place to watch newly released movies online ?
Moyus new meilong cubes are so cool
As an artist I would honestly buy these just as art pieces 🤣 also the second one has cat ears 😍
When the cube is a furry
When the cube is a Neko
That’s what I was thinking
They're not cat ears, they're devil horns. 😈
It's just insane to see how complex puzzles are getting these days!

rotating a skewb "center" by 90 degrees is not possible, because technically they are edges of a tetrahedron
