I found much of the same! The build quality on the TTArtisan is incredible - but for IQ, the Viltrox is better (especially on 40MP sensors). You're killing it lately Ivan!! Great work man.
Thank you for this video.😊 Can't decide which one to get. I already have the viltrox 56mm f1.7, so it does make sense to complete it with the 35mm f1.7. But the ttartisan is also a nice lense and has better build quality for a cheaper price.
Bro you need to clarify that this is TTArtisan AF 35mm f/1.8 mark II...an entirely different lens with a different optical formula from the TTartisan 35mm F1.8 AF that you have listed in the video description.
How does the viltrox compare with the xf 35mm f1.4? The fast and silent af might win me over if the image quality is close. I'll learn to live without the aperture ring.
The XC might have better rendering/contrast since it's a Fuji lens. Also correction profiles work straight on the camera. The Viltrox lens might be better for video due to the improved focus breathing. The TTArtisan has the better build quality for sure. The price is insane!
I shared the same tots. I am now doing a quick video between the Viltrox and XC35. Start tune and see if we were both right. Cheers and greetings from singapore.
Straight to the point, great review thanks!

Thank you man! Cheers.
Great comparison.
I own the TTArtisan 56mm f1.8 and the build quality feels great for the price.

There is no perfect answer. Build quality vs Image quality. it's your call. For me; IQ is key.
@@FujiFanBoys thank you ivan. I will go for the viltrox.

Ah. I will do just that. Thank you!

What camera did you use? I wonder if the IQ would be noticeable with xt30ii
Most of the snaps are shot with X-E4.
What will happen if you add the xc35 to the equation?
^^this is also my question
Good question indeed. Between Viltrox and XC35mm, I would go for XC because the price point is pretty close.

I would say the focus breathing on Viltrox is better on my testing.
Its the same on my end too as you can see in the video.
