You mention fcp euro a lot in your videos, and I know they take returns on oil and filters. Do they not sell that bottle of liqui moly or is the amazon link an affiliate link?
@@tantorum3508 They do sell LiquiMoly, I thought I had put their oil change kit in the description, I'll go ahead and update that now. Yes, the Amazon links are affiliate links are for those that don't want to use FCP/want the quicker shipping/whatever other reason.
@ awesome thanks man, yeah I think Im gonna buy their kit for my next oil change with liqui molys flush. It’s nice fcp is in my state so i can just go and pick up. I did my valve cover and ignition coils it was a piece of cake. Where did you find your control arms? Fcp has an aluminum kit but it’s double the price of the other ones. Edited: It’s from SuperPro suspension and I may just go with them since they seem like their performance parts.
@@tantorum3508 You can get the aluminum stock Passat control arms and use them on a Jetta/Golf/Rabbit. Part# is 3C0407151G - These are lighter and stronger than the stamped or cast steel versions, but should be cheaper than the SuperPro. That said, the Superpro bushings inside the arms are better for spirited driving. Personally, I grabbed Passat control arms from a local u-pull yard and I'll be pressing the bushings in to make it as inexpensive as possible.
@ do you have hydraulic or electric powersteering? I’m looking for one that fits with having hydraulic powersteering but most say must have electric powersteering
As I understand, these NGKs are the OEM plugs, at least for the late models cars. (This example being an '09) And lots of people prefer to run the newest part revision plug for their early 2.5. The coils, while not OEM (Black Eldor) are an OEM for the red tops. I believe from the factory, they'd have been red Eldor's, but Bosch was a suitable replacement and carried by Audi dealers. And as mentioned in the video, black and red coils are the same these days, pick one if you have a color preference or go with whatever is cheaper like I did. Regardless, they're treating me great. I've had this same set in my wife's '08 2.5 for a couple years now and no complaints.
Nice job, super easy to follow and the camera work was clutch ! Love the vids
