Loved this! I have been hating my nose since I got teased in school. Part of the reason why I got home schooled in high school. That was over 15 years ago. I am happy with my life and my kids have adorable noses. My husband told me that he loves my nose even before he knew I didn't like it and got teased. It is nice to be unique.

I've been waiting for this! It's funny, those of us with bigger noses have these universal tips and tricks to help make them look smaller like I've had side bangs for as long as I can remember and I always use products like volumizing root powder to give my hair lots of volume, even when it's straight, to help balance and distract from my nose. I have hundreds of dollars in contour palettes yet the best contour shade I adore is the NYX blush in taupe. I don't use shimmer down the bridge but once I'm done contouring and highlighting my nose, I will take my pinky and lightly tap in very light highlight powder like Becca Pearl and put just a dot just above where I contour the tip. It seems to help balance all of it for me. Then I take what ever powder is left on my large brush from setting the rest of my face and go side to side across my nose to blend everything completely and balance it.
Yes I think we naturally are drawn to things that make us feel balanced and look good. Sometimes we don't even realize we are doing them, till someone points it out! But they truly do work, balance is key!
I haven't even gone through 10 minutes of this video and you are honestly so awesome. I first came to your channel a while ago because of your other nose contouring video. Because coming from someone with a massive nose...it was nice to see someone who actually has a bigger nose doing contouring....because so many others claim to have a "big" nose when I'd die for their nose! LOL Thanks for the tips....I've been doing a lot of these things for years now (besides contouring to be honest) and it truly does help make you feel better about your big nose. Sure....I go through times when I start to hate it again (we know I'll never love it, but I tolerate it and sometimes forget about it), but it's nice to see this video so far, it's refreshing and you're an angel

Yesss, finally a nose contouring video that has more than shadows and light on your nose! It's all about the complete appearance, from the hair to the rest of your makeup and proportions, and if your nose isn't the main focal point of your look nobody's going to pay attention to it, and you don't even need to contour it. This hairstyle fits you really well, it frames the face and gives it proportion and good shape, the bangs really are a lifesaver when it comes to side profile :) If you contour your nose without eliminating the natural shadows, it will look harsh and draw attention to it (you're adding more shadow to where a shadow already exists, if you contour your cheekbones there normally isn't a shadow there and it looks natural because of that), but a light well applied contour after applying a light color to counteract the shadows makes the nose much smaller without drawing attention to it

I want to say that you are beautiful. This video is so helpful because I have a similar nose, with a bump and a bulbous tip. And any nose contouring videos I see do not address these issues anywhere near as well as you did!!
Now, Maybe it's because most everyone in my family has a similar nose to yours, so that I think that your nose looks great even without the contouring!! I think you look beautiful. And the contouring makes you look even more so ☺️

I had to pause while I'm thinking about it so I don't forget lol; we've talked about how you and I have very similar noses and you've seen it on IG so I immediately thought of you when I recently started doing this new trick-the part of my nose where my bump is and the other part that I always prefer to slim down, I've been using a cheap little wedge makeup sponge that comes in a pack of 20 or so for a few bucks, I take the smallest end of the sponge and tap into my contour color then just lightly press it on the part of my bump I want to slim down. It makes perfect straight lines and also gets the two lines on each side of the bump close enough that it really "pinches" it in. It has made a tremendous difference in my nose contouring and it's much more precise than the dozens of brushes I've experimented with for my nose contour. Maybe give a try sometime and see if it will help you too!

Not having bangs also helps make the nose look smaller because with bangs you put all the focus on the nose. I got rid of my bangs when I realized this.
Yeah it think it just depend on the person! I feel like bangs kind of fill in the forehead area, but for others it could draw more attention. I just grew them out for a change. :)
Amber's Beauty Chair well it’s an optical illusion. By showing forehead, you draw eye up and away from nose. And the diagonal line also draws eye away. With bangs, you have blocked the lengthening effect of exposing forehead so first thing we see is nose. Like contouring, it’s good optics for you.

Love! I have a "small" nose but the tip is very round and not that pointed shape when I smile. My nostrils just get big and it looks like a fat tip (similar to Scarlett Johansson before her nose job). I will try this technique! I always fail at contouring and it just looks dirty

I have a big long nose and bangs don't suit me though I used to have bangs as a kid and it looked good on me, maybe my nose was smaller as a kid. They also say pixie hair doesnt suit people w long large noses but everyone says it looks good on me Everytime I had it. I also always used to think I had oval face, when I turned 35 or so it now looks more heart shaped.

What's your favorite facial feature? I think mine are the 2 lines of freckles I have - one goes from my right eye to my ear, and the other goes from the left eye around my mouth to my chin. They're like constellations!
Even though they aren't large I still would probably say my eyes. I like playing them up. :) I have freckles on my arms I always say look like the big dipper! :)

Blunt bangs is an absolute no no. All I can see is your nose. Also, I thought like you that a highlighter on the tip will make it look big. I tried it and it actually made my nose look smaller. It became the most essential step for me.
