there is an error when injecting event Pokemon into X and Y that makes their met date 1/1/2000. fixing the DS world clock does not change this, so i wanted to ask if you knew of a solution to this problem. You can not pass off these event pokemon as legitimate unless the met date is the same as the time the event was held

i injected the eon ticket wondercard via pksm on my pokemon y but the game just said "you received !" at the pokemon centre and it froze when i opened my bag. im trying to get rid of it now but im not sure how i could do that bc it doesnt let me erase the wondercard without receiving the mystery gift...but i dont want it if its gonna break my game..
So sorry I responded so late I’ve had a lot going on. Ummmm I’m not to sure if you might be able to use Checkpoint or whatever the back up manager is called and make a back up put your sd card into your pc and open the 3ds folder in your sd card and find the Pokemon game and open the folder and look for the main file the file is literally called name and copy and save it somewhere. There’s a application called PKHeX and you might be able to fix it in the settings. PKeX is a Pokémon save file editor and you might be able to reset that glitch, luckily it’s a copy of the actual save so you won’t ruin anything testing
hey!! thank you for answering, hope you're doing okay! dw i think i figured it out in the end. i had injected a wondercard exclusive to ORAS into my pokemon Y and i didnt know that was something that could even happen ^^" i hadnt backed up any save file that i could restore, but luckily there's a script you can run in PKSM which deletes all wondercard data from your game (just the cards, not the pokemon you had already obtained legitimately) so i tried that and it worked! there's probably a way to do it for a single wondercard too but i was in a rush ^^" only thing weird is that checkpoint also crashed during the process so i had to delete the software and re-download it!@@SoxTheHelpfulFox pkhex seems really cool!! i have a mac so ill have to find another way to use it (i could probably sneakily download it on my dad's office's pc mwhahah)

I don’t think Nintendo cares at all about the 3ds system I wouldn’t worry. Moving the pokemon to pokemon home however I don’t know if you can get banned for using those Pokemon. I’ve moved many pokemon on my own account and I’ve never had problems

I used several devices to transfer pokes from original gen 1 and 2 to virtual console games and then to bank, home and sword/shield (used arbitrary code in gold to turn several pokes into shiny but home did not ban anything).
I also made a milotic appear with GameShark in emerald and then transfered it to pokemon black. If you change attacks or other attributes with pksm, they will be flagged as illegal by pksm only. The transfer will proceed anyway.
I have injected old events I to gen 3 and 4 (something I consider semi legal). And transfered with no problem.
So now in sword/Shield. The only issue is that the game will prevent pokes to use "illegal" moves by prompting you to delete them (illegal as in hacked moves or moves no longer existing in sword/shield).
Otherwise, I think the security is pretty lax...as I have encountered No bans whatsoever (and have seen people using horrible hackmons). All of my semi legal mons where transfered with no issues.
Tl;Dr: be smart when editing mons and they will be flagged as legal.
That concludes my report.
