@lobz it's visually stunning. Don't know if this is a spoiler per se but I got the vibe that Desmond Hart was early Sardukar, or what later became the Sardukar. The show started slowish for the first few min but got super intense/suspenseful toward the end. They made us put our cell phones in plastic bags & were monitoring to make sure no one filmed it. There was a q and a with the showrunner streaming from LA, We had to miss a lot of that because we wanted to see the second half of the football game. I will definitely need to watch the episode a few more times once it airs to catch all the details. I'm not sure anyone not familiar with Dune lore would be able to pick up on this show cold but I could be wrong. I like the depiction of the Emperor, he's very believable.
I got to see a preview of the first episode at one of the local theaters tonight. I'm pretty intrigued so far, especially by this character.
