To be fair, Ragnar is a very quiet and reserved character as well. He only screams a handful of times in the show. He doesn't even scream in Battle, which contrasts him to his beserkr son Hvitserk, who's battle cry is unmistakeable.
You can see he is not poisoned by Hollywood. Hope he keeps acting and stays living in Australia far away from Hollywood and its bloodsuckers. Such a great person he is. Humble and calm and not an attention seeker. I wish him all the best. Cheers mate 🍻

There's just so much to admire about artists that don't make the spotlight the most important part of their careers. Travis is clearly a person that, if possible, would avoid all the promoting part for the films and series he works on, and only act, because that's what he loves.
I worked with Travis as an extra on Boy Swallows Universe. I played the singer in a band and I’m not an actor by trade, I’m a musician, that’s why they hired us, so the band wasn’t miming complete nonsense. It was really sweaty nervous work, room filled with Netflix production staff, Travis was the first time I’ve really worked with someone I’d watched on tv a lot so I was pretty nervous about how to act professionally. After a few takes, we had a bit of a shuffle, probably to get the shots of Travis seperate to the big noisy band, but during that swap over Travis came and shook hands with all of us. Said hello, it was a highlight. But I thought maybe the director asked him to come say hi to make us feel more comfortable because he was kinda quiet and shy, which I read as reluctance, but seeing all these interviews made me realise that was probably just him being himself. Probably still forced to come say hi, but it did make it easier after that. Aussie Legend, proud to call Ragnar one of us

I can almost guarantee, after reading the hundreds of stories all online about how great of a bloke he is, that he wasn't asked to say hello. That he took it upon himself. I've read stories of people meeting him at a pub who didn't know he was an actor and talking all night then ultimately getting a photo and then sending it to their kids saying "I met a great bloke tonight" and they said "That's King Ragnar".

I can almost guarantee, after reading the hundreds of stories all online about how great of a bloke he is, that he wasn't asked to say hello. That he took it upon himself. I've read stories of people meeting him at a pub who didn't know he was an actor and talking all night then ultimately getting a photo and then sending it to their kids saying "I met a great bloke tonight" and they said "That's King Ragnar".
