The recommended balls are the special bola balls, which come in 4 varieties - red (full 5.25oz weight soft centre), yellow (full weight soft centre, same as red), yellow (junior weight, can be confusing if you own both yellow varieties), and orange (lightweight, ultra-swingy, BUY SOME they are amazing). It can also fire tennisies, baseballs, hockey balls and proper cricket balls, though they are not recommended. The regular model fires balls at up to 99mph, the light model 80mph, and can bowl controlled swing, seam and spin. The regular model costs around £2000 retail, so with ECB grants and sponsorship a club can pick one up for around £500 plus balls and feeder.
