Seriously, what's wrong with you people? He's teaching a drill "for" 13/14yr olds……. If he was to use an inexperienced 13/14yr old it wouldn't be executed perfectly so there's no point...…...Great drill, love it.....i'll be doing this with my 11yr old.

The idea is 'how to teach the basic concept' and I see it as having mobilized footwork for spin play. Done excellently. Listen to the words the coach uses. And also how he invites the answer from the trainee instead of throwing it out himself. It internalizes learning for the long term. Don't go by the high skill and shape of this player. You can apply it to players not as gifted.

Put a tape or a chalk line on the good length.If the ball pitches before the good be back footed and if the ball pitches after good length than be front footed,also read it from the bowlers hand1)if he is releasing the ball early then it is would be full(play front foot) release is late could be a bouncer lean back and pull,hook or cut.Also see the wrist position to read the swing.Follow tip by ST41N3D(head over ball(covering the line),foot work (front or back).This is like driving a car you should be spontaneous in doing this....keep speaking regularly to yourself like after bowler releases say front foot inswing or out swing,then it becomes a habit..hope it helps 🤔
What about picking the ball out of the hand? I’m just a leg spinner in u 15s and I can bowl a leg break a wrongin a top spinner and a flipper which are all very different balls that look reasonably the same out of the hand?
So most of the Australian's doesn't want to play with the spin, the guy is playing well but they are not considering adjustments in shot and foot work that they need when the ball would spin

It doesn't matter if it's a 70 year old coach doing it himself while a 13-14 year old kid does the under-arms or the other way around, it's just bloody showing, stop trying to find an excuse to dislike or call a video fake.
This is more of just putting bat to ball..spin bowling cannot be played at higher levels by just watching where the ball pitches. you need to learn to judge the spin by reading from the bowlers hand and then adjust yourself accordingly to the length of the ball.. common mate there are serious spinners out there....silly stuff

'cause he can go both the sides.....the only way to play os to judge his ball from his hand, which is very very difficult, or come down the wicket n play the ball from its pitch, before it spins
