    This is the only game that sends FFB from simulated steering rack to the steering wheel. The force has to come from the tyres through the entire suspension geometry then down to the steering rack/columns as it would irl. In Assetto Corsa the feedback feels more direct and fast than accurate and it gets FFB from only tyres. Doesn't simulate an in-depth suspension geometry as BeamNG. Plus, BeamNG is the only game I've seen and played that simulates power steering accurately that explains why it can feel lacking like irl cars are designed to be.

    • @jgbalves
      @jgbalves ปีที่แล้ว +13

      Thing with beamng is they do too much at once so to update all parts of the game is quite hard. But when they come to ffb it's always a good evolution. Remember playing first versions, ffb and audio were quite bland, but is getting better and better.

    • @kak8895
      @kak8895 ปีที่แล้ว +30

      @@jgbalves They love everything they're doing no matter how complex and I'm all for it. I uphold major respect for the developers in taking this bold approach that nobody else would venture towards.
      I remember, those were hard but interesting times. To see what it has become after all those years from just "crash simulator" is not only impressive but scares me to what level they want to achieve with this game. It's potential is insane, only hardware limits it.

      @@randomsimstuff9557 Yeah setting up a DD wheel is pretty rough and I had a great time with the g920. I have the moza r9 now and I'm constantly tweaking the ffb sliders on a per-car basis. You can also set car-specifc strength in the car tuning tab which helps a lot. It gets better every update though and will eventually be the best sim out there imo

    Assetto Corsa - Hovering cleverly calculated platform on wheels that feels like it's real. Do trampoline jump or roll over - it's gone.
    BeamNG - Real. Air friction, plasticity, weight and endurance factor of every piece of a car. Even missing 1 side mirror at high speeds insensibly takes you to the side. Overall, just great physics engine to play around with.

      @@4.6_Nate Good job you found a limitation in the physics, never said it didn't have it's flawed but it's also not intended to be a jump simulator, I'm talking about actually driving the cars and how the FFB feels, so when someone says BeamNG is the best drifting simulation they either have never drifted in real life or as I said are delusional.

    the 740i you showed is also most likely a meshslap, judging by the quality of the wheels and the etk I-series engine sound

      @William skagen yes but if I turn down the steering angle it not as bad. But the cars wheels turn slower than the steering wheel in beam ng , forza, and carx. For example if I turn to the left fast the wheel/tires turn after I've already turned. It literally make it impossible to stop the car from spinning out.
