I find it hilarious when they always feel they have to walk.
They always do a walk of the paddock so they can do a short spotlight on each team and their drivers. It can be awkward sometimes, but it keeps the discussion moving along.

@@dragonmagoz Great point. Skipping a race because you won’t do well isn’t how F1 works. Wayne Gretzky once said that “you miss 100% of the shots you don’t take” and in this case, you loose 100% of the races you don’t race. The reason HAAS, Alfa Romeo and Williams all race even when they don’t have cars anywhere winning is because they want to go out and do what they can. Besides, most people will likely agree that a 20 car sprint race is much better than an 18 or 16 car sprint race
You are all right, of course. I just liked the juxtaposition of teams saying "Yes, this is obviously going to be a very tough one for us" and the absolutely abysmal team "going all out"

She’s a huge F1 fan….if I remember correctly she was involved with McLaren’s F1 team when Lewis and Jenson were in the team…I think some PR/Marketing type role…but still…outside of drivers who have become ‘pundits’ ,she definitely has a better understanding of F1 teams and their inner workings than most journos

I normally can't stand watching the driver interviews because the questions are always the same which elicit the same rehearsed answers but the questions from the fans, especially the kids, are gold. And I can see the drivers having fun with them as well. Keep those questions coming kids!

Toto will not make a decision until the "summer"? Which one? Summer started in June (for the northern hemisphere.) I assume there is a break in the races that they call "the summer" in F1 but I don't see where that is, after Hungary?. Toto has already made up his mind. He knows what he needs to know to decide... I think he just doesn't want to upset the driver that will lose out to the other.

Agree. Teams will likely do what they can to either make it lower or increase ground effect in their racing models next year though
The full width wing means there won’t be any air going under the car otherwise.
Since the car depends more on the floor to generate downforce for 2022, you need that gap to allow some air to enter that area for the diffuser.

Silverstone's Paddock is a bit all over the shop because its built on a hill. I believe all the garages are all in a different order so fans can see into certain garages

Yes i prefer Coulthard as well, he knows the sport inside out and is a great interviewer.
He does other stuff than F1 (lots of football) so I think he's doing that. Not sure he was that well received anyway so kinda works for everyone to go separate ways

England is removing all legal limits on social distancing in less than 72 hrs. The football tests that have been done at the euros here were also very successful so I think the authorities in the UK are quite happy for this to go ahead

The safest place to be in any race is at the front, so I think the fastest guys will be just as aggressive in the sprint and hence result in the same kind of result in the sprint as we have seen in past races.

Why don't you guys wear the same kind of mask as Hamilton (e.g. at the 9:35 mark) then your nose won't be exposed when your mouth moves. Which is kind of helpful if the mask is supposed to be effective.
