Your band stopped me from committing suicide.. Just your beautiful music has been keeping me going every day i wake up i listen to your music and all i can do i smile and feel joy. After i lost the person who meant the world to me, all i have left is what i got which is my love for music and that is you guys. So thank you so much for the years of great music
Music is something that reaches the deepest parts in a human body and I believe it's a direct link to the soul.. When a certain melody is orchestrated with timing, placement of notes, tempo, audio manipulation and Vocal delivery of words that tell your/ our story it creates a physical reaction.. Chill bumps, high heart rates, tears etc.. Yet Sometimes it hits the non physical Emotional reactions. Sadness, Joy, love ,hate, redemption, motivation or guidance... That's when the perfect formula of sounds Access the the most true and pure spectrum of your existence. Everyone has felt this but it is not a physical feeling. That's why music will always be the most needed art form of any kind.. yes movies make you cry or happy but I don't believe it gets as deep, paintings the same and books as well but music can transcend physical existence and create a time machine that takes you back and your not even trying to remember. It unlocks those emotions and they trigger the memories and feeling at that point in that time.
God doesn’t love us based on our worth, but we have worth because God loves us -Martin Luther I know it’s hard and I fail God (willingly unfortunately sometimes) and I hate myself, but while we were sinners, Christ died for us and He will heal us
I know the feeling but just remember St. Paul who said it himself that he is the chief of sinners had a thorn to his side, that thorn could represent a sin that God refuses to remove for reasons Paul did not understand. But it is indeed to teach him humility and understand that God Himself is the one that gets the glory not us. So if the sin is a crippling thorn to our side just remember it’s possibly there to humble us so we may be desperate enough to cling to God because if we didn’t have sin would we still be desperate to cling to God? Or would we forget our creator and lover of our soul because of the pride we have gained from rising above a certain evil? Also this sin, although God hates, is useful to help us understand that God way use you one day, because even in 1 Corinthians God said through Paul God chooses the weak things of the world in order to shame the strong, foolish things of the world to shame the wise. Keep in mind nothing is by chance it’s all for a reason. Even Joseph in Genesis said Man may do evil but God works it out for the good.
Super glad about your hubby, but I'd love to point out God was and is in those places, waiting and calling for guys like these to meet Him and the people they need to meet wherever they are. I'm 100% sure most conservative Christians would shy away from chilling with the kind of people Jesus willingly sought out, including prostitutes and whatever modern day equivalent of the shunned and pushed out that Demon Hunter love to connect with.
I was mowing the yard with headphones when Raining Down came on in the mix that was playing. I had never heard of Demon Hunter. I had to stop mowing so I could just sit and listen. After that I started following them in Spitify and liked all of their albums. I grew up with Stryper in the 80's and Demon Hunter took me to a whole other level.
We will all fail God and we will all fail each other. You guys have helped so many people, myself included. No matter what else that can't be taken from you or the people you've helped. Nobody is perfect and we shouldn't be expected to be. Repent AND forgive. Christ should be our strongest example and role model.
I love this band. This song speaks to me on a different level. I always thought it was him talking to god and how he will fail at times and will one day be the good person god wants him to be. This song touches me on a personal level. These guys are great. I'm happy there's a band which they don't after people who are Christians because they are themselves.
I will fail is possibly my favorite song from Demon Hunter, there’s just something so real about the song. When I heard the song I thought the song was about failing Jesus which is common among Christian’s, I have sinned so many times and still try to fight but when I sin I feel a sense of failure when I have always remind myself that God is perfect Not I. This song really resonates that, and I’m glad that it’s about us being human because that’s also what I feel. I’m thankful.
We are human. And will always fall short. We can only aim to be better in this flawed and faulty shell. Stay strong and safe y'all. Keep keeping it real. You'll draw and help people like me. Daily.
This video is 7 years old, I just saw another interview video with Ryan Clark that was from like 10 months ago and he looks the same, this man doesn't age lol
See, I took the meaning as a coming to terms with the enemy of our souls & the struggles we all have. Sure we all fail, it's part of the human condition. It's a declaration of war against accepting the lie satan wants us to believe, that our faith is a joke & we'll not forgiven. The phrase "I will fail you" to me means I've not accepted satan's lies as fact, hence "faith restored ". I will fight this fight to the end inspite of the "relentless " voices or feelings to the contrary. Torward the end of the video, some one is revealed bound & gagged next to the singer. I remembered a speech where Jesus spoke of robbing a strongman. How to rob him effectively, you had to bind the strong man first. Then you could sack his home. I viewed the bound & gagged individual as the flesh. He's here for the ride, yet he's not in charge . In the end, the driver takes pills (the medicine Adoni gives us) & finds a time of rest heading towards the light, to the horror of the bound man. When I am tempted to yield to my flesh, I play this video & I'm encouraged to fail satan just one more time.
Dan donato, interesting view. That’s what I love about music is that we can all interpret it in different ways. I took the bound man as being Jesus Christ himself, but the driver has Jesus bound and is therefore “failing him” by taking pills. Then u see Jesus trying to wake him up and tell him “you’re gonna wreck!” Either way, phenomenal song. One of my favorites currently. Almost drives me to tears every time I hear it.
@@acubana you guy both have such amazing views to this song. When i first listened to it i thought it was facing your mental issues and the people you love, you will fail them and wash way the pain with the pills from the video. And the bound man i believe is another form of himself, the loving and caring side but his mental illness tied him up. And now he feels trapped by himself. And he will fail the ones he cares for most
@@ethanparish551 I believe your interpretation is closer to the message intended. When The Almighty encourages us, He uses whom He will . That message is far from the author's mission. Given The situation in my life, this is how I perceived the message.
Jesus spoke to those who most would not. If you just preach to the choir what good is that? You are called ro come outside your comfort zone to meet those where their at as Jesus did without condemnation and self-righteousness.
Saint John Paul II: humanism can not be true humanism if it throws Jesus Christ out. Only true humanism is the one founded in Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ
@@OfficialAnekito Christianity supports the notion that humans, though flawed, are worthy enough to be reconciled with God the Father. The Bible gives us many examples of obedience, even through difficult circumstances, as with Job. Consequently, we have evidence that not all of God's creatures are goats; only some. However, this merit does not automatically bestow any level of authority upon mankind.

God bless this band.
I feel like I fail God a lot more than I impress Him, even though I want to do better, and so this song resonated strongly for me.

Anybody else get kinda teary eyed or am I just emotional??
Ryan is always so well spoken.
Only when he's singing lol. Otherwise he's like Moses.
So is your comment. He's a natural healer. His words and voice have healed broken souls.

Alot of Humility in this band. Some would be so big head and big mouth with less talent. That's when you let the Holy Ghost conduct your life 🔥🙏🏼

I believe it's a sign of good art when you can derive multiple meanings from it shaped from our own experiences and be just as inspiring
That is why I love you guys so much. You meet people where they are. Your lyrics and music are brilliant. Please keep it up.
he's a brilliant song writer but somewhat of a douche bag. sadly I think a lot of talented musicians are.
how is he a ***? seriously!
This song came out shortly after i was diagnosed with MS and i literally kept me alive. Thank you Demon Hunter and Ryan for everything.
