- Sora is trapped in the Unreality known as Quadratum in Kingdom Hearts 4. Although he may be able to try to make his way home, the first game in the Lost Master Arc may be the story of Sora's Doomed Attempt to get back the world he came from.

It's not that Sora is in Unreality or fiction, it's that both sides of the coin view the other as Fiction or unreality. In Quadratum, it's very possible that the KH universe is Fiction, like how Verum Rex was Fiction In the Destiny Islands Side of the coin.

For real, we can all talk about which character got it the worst in the series and how Sora never really suffered like they did, which is fair but that's not to say he didn't go through a massive amount of shit, he just had godtier mental fortitude to make it through everything before and he at the end of KH3/remind did something that for all he knew could have been the ultimate sacrifice. But even with him being alive in a different reality, ideas like yours are definitely possible, I'm confident Sora will pull through but this is Nomura we're talking about

I think that Sora’s journey in Kingdom Hearts 4 will force him to see the consequences of his actions for using the power of Waking in Remind. I mean it would force him to realize that certain choices have a cost and it would force him reflect on his decisions in the future. At the very least I think Sora is forced to learn some harsh things in KH4 and it will not be all sunshine and rainbows. More like tough love for Sora in this game.

I kinda feel that Sora might be an "infinite adventurer" meaning he can travel anywhere, whenever, as mentioned by Sigurd he has "endless options", he can never stay forever in one place as the price for using the power of waking or whatever he had to do during KH3 to bring everyone back. He actually messed up the time and space and now his body can or very own existence is lost in time and space hence giving him the ability to travel worlds but can never return or might be hard for him to return - most specially when that black hooded guy whoever he is said that leaving Quadratum doesn't mean he'll get to return to his original world.
For Yozora, probably he refers to saving Sora as trapping him in Quadratum because of the risks of having to go back and forth to different worlds. But I do wanna know who told Yozora about Sora.
I think that Sora vs yozora is the final fight of kh4 and the remind dlc was a teaser for it, just like the secret boss in kh1 was xemnas for kh2, terra for kh bbs :D, Young xehanort in BBS for dream drop.
HMK it is pronounced, " Sei - gurd" not "Sai - gurd" Sigurd is actually a hero that defeated the dragon Fafnir and has great knowledge. He has a similar legend to the hero Siegfried if not one in the same.

When I watched the KH4 trailer, I noticed Sora looked way more realistic here than he did in the Yozora fight. What if the longer he stays in Quadratum, the more his body adapts to the new reality, to the point where he can’t go back to his reality, kinda like what almost happened to Miguel in coco when he was in the after life.

I think it’s that when Sora fought Yozora, they were in a place between reality and unreality so it was a melding of their art styles, a mixture of Sora’s more cartoony style and Yozora’s more realistic style
I'd say it's just his body adapting to the world he's in, same as happened in POTC world.

I think that the game will go something like this: IN THE BEGINING we DO NOT start off by having zero powers or abilities like we usually do, in fact we start with Sora's previous abilities from kh3 and level 99 but nerfed in a way since quadratum is reality, then after the beginning sora will start to lose the power of the keyblade as time goes on and won't be able to summon It at one point, then that's when we'll start at level 0, after that who knows how sora will be able to fight, maybe he gets a weapon like yozoras and learns new different abilities? Idk but I feel like there would be good character development from sora if he lost the keyblade for a good portion of KH IV

That is very interesting, that will add to the difficulty for the players. Having their abilities being lock could force players to think new tactics as the story goes forward. Maybe it could happen since Sora is in another world with different time flow and different laws of nature.

@@albertguerra4727 That is such a good idea. But Sora would need to seek a new power source to continue the fight. My idea is properly impossible, but I was thinking that Sora would be force to make new weapons similar to Final Fantasy jobs. That properly won't happen, but it was just an idea.
Maybe Quadratum also funtions as the new hub world like Traverse Town and Twilight Town and Hollow Bastion were.

I love this theory. It's so dark and ngl, it'd be nice if for once we get a not so happy ending that sticks involving Sora. I know we got that in Dark Road and Chi/back cover, but I want one with Sora. Despite all of Sora's efforts, Kairi's, Riku's, Sora is stuck in this unreality universe and forges new strong lasting connections, that will aid him in thwarting the Master of Masters attempt at destroying these worlds.
What makes you think the MoM wants to destroy the worlds? Based on what we know from Unchained X, he wants to defeat the original 13 Darkneseses. This is most likely part of that plan.
Heck no, not my homie Sora! That would be an enormous insult to the KH series’ affirmation of the values of friendship, just as bringing blockchains, crypto-currency and NFTs into the mix goes against FF7’s environmental messages.
The best possible compromise would be to introduce another all new main character who got trapped in Quadratum under similar circumstances to Sora, albeit for more selfish reasons. He would act all high and mighty towards Sora and Strelitzia at first, like he has more right to get back home than them, but eventually will have to come to terms with his hubris and hypocrisy, and sacrifice his chance to return for Sora and Strelitzia’s sake.
KH1 ends with Sora trapped in hell, CoM ends with his mind so mangled that he's out of commission for a year, and 3 ends with him losing literally everything in exchange for Kairi going back to everyone else. What not so happy ending do you want?
Sora got a bad ending in kh3. Bro literally got separated from his friends AGAIN lol. His journey is a constant fight.

We aren't taking in acount that the Sora vs Yozora could be AFTER KHIV, and the girl that Sora mentions could be Strelitzia (my headcanon is that she never tolds her name to Sora), that's why Yozora's not in the trailer
unless she tells him after she explains how he wound up in Quadratum

I don't think it makes sense for there to be multiple 'worlds' in Unreality, because the reason they were even separated in the KHverse was because of the keyblade war which obviously isn't a thing in Unreality. Might be another terminology thing where they say 'world' but really just mean different places, like in UX.
We will have multiple worlds unfortunately in KH4 that we can travel to in like all the other KH games!

strelitzia is the third key though mentioned at the end of kh mom and because of that will clearly play a much larger role the question is though what is her role and will she be able to come back
or are the crew sending her physical form there since she's in the final world to communicate with him and some how find a way to bring him back through the many worlds in quadrataum

I don't think that she is the third key at all, the nameless star seems to be that girl we see in the Verum Rex trailer, and if irrc Sora alluded to that being the case during the secret episode.
Strelitzia is NOT the Nameless Star, The Nameless Star is the 3rd and is originally from Quadratum herself

I remember seeing a drawn comic on Sora, who made it back to the "real world", but lost his memories as a consequence. Its just a fun/dark theory, but what if, when sora travels to these fiction worlds, he losses some of his memories like of kairi and riku, and then donald and goofy. Sora's friends are his power, but what if the lost "powers" sora actually lost are the memories of his friends since we still see him with his keyblade. If this was indeed the case, this could bring back Roxas, Xion, and Namine to try and help sora regain his "power" in another game and maybe fight the foretellers who ight end up getting ahold of those memores. Kind of like another "chain of memories" game after KH4

@@joaocbcneto does seem like it. I do know that a lot of people wanted a dream drop distance kind of game, or a birth by sleep part two. Its like that kind of thing. Its a segment to move the story on, but with a more devastating turn than chain of memories. Instead of changing the memories, its a loss of them, and Sora's strength
@@Bell-gv2zv But it's not totally dark. Memories as shown in KH don't ever truly vanish. Xion was erased yet Axel and Roxas still had their memories of her. They just couldn't remember.
@@Webshooters1 Yea, and as we do see, they did regain them thanks to the help of Sora, except we don't know when Ben got his back at the time because he does remember his chu right. As for Sora's case. Its mainly a scenario in which Sora's memories are scattered throughout and taken by the foretellers or simply disappeared due to traveling in quadratum. If you watched the movie coco, think of it as that except its memories and if it was the case since he is in the "afterlife", if he does lose his memories, he loses who he is and won't be able to return which is probably why stralitzia stays in quadratum and not venturing outside of it because she knows the risks
Sora being unable to make it home as a punishment for abusing the Power of Waking would really be so tragic. Never seeing the Destiny Islands again, despite wanting to leave it in the first place.
KH4 is when Sora's journey is clearly "Quantum Leap."

That's true I wonder if we'll see a Surprise Appearance of her throughout the game even going as far as her being a Partner at the end of the game due to her free nature being the exact reason why she had to be removed in a way to begin with

Absolutely LOVE your KH videos! Big fan! WIsh I could just appear and give a big hug or fistbump or whatever and tell you how much I appreciate your dedication to KH but alas, so far away.
I wouldn’t mind all of KH4 being in the realm of Quadratum and we still get cutscenes back to the Disney characters (Donald, goofy, Mickey etc. ) and throughout or at some point Riku , kairi , Lea and roxas (the humans) find their way to quadratum .
That art with all of their street style outfits makes me hope for this even more .
If there is a chance for TWEWY Shibuya to make an appearance in KH4 as a world, I think it could go along with the theme "Reclaim your heart" which is the case of Yozora and in a figurative way it kinda applies to Sora, and it's something I see that will be taken in count a lot with the Lost Master Arc going forward, maybe for even more characters. Alongside that, just like you mentioned some worlds that could apply very well could be Coco and Soul because their stories eventually end up with the protagonists getting their lives back, on the theme of reality vs fiction, I'm surprised I have barely seen any people talking about it, but, Enchanted would fit so well!!

Gonna call it now. Strelitizia is gonna recruit everyone to get back at everyone responsible for her fate in UX, MoM is gonna bring the foretellers into unreality to start a keyblade war there too (hence the second chess board being formed) and the box has some method of travel to get there and if it's the same as whatever Luxord and Yozora uses, it's gonna involve traveling through dreams (or abusing the power of waking but more controlled than how Sora used it). The secret fight between Sora and Yozora will be both a dream as well as the method that Yozora saves Sora which would explain why after that fight we see both of them waking up (The "I've been having weird thoughts lately," line seemingly supports this since they both have only said it when traveling to the station of awakening soooo a dream.) Luxord is gonna be the guy with the glasses from the Verum Rex commercial. Also, somehow AT-STs are involved too idunno.
Is it just me? Or Is Sora starting to become as photo-realistic as the characters from the Final Fantasy franchise? This is just bad-ass! 😎🤙 The concept of having Star Wars, Avatar, Indiana Jones and The Marvel Cinematic Universe as worlds for this possible Teen-Rated fourth entry of Kingdom Hearts sound like a perfect fit! Even if they still add some of the new animated worlds, I would go for Zootopia, Onward, Raya and the Last Dragon and Lilo & Stitch (as the one and only returning world). Perhaps some cameo appearances from The Princess and The Frog, Coco, Moana The Incredibles and Treasure Planet would probably do some good, while most of the cameos are Final Fantasy and Square Enix become the main focus.
MCU’s a bit of stretch imo - but I agree that Treasure Planet is LONG overdue.

@@izzylandyt Not yet. There will be something from his past that connects him back to it he might have forgotten or been seperated from his origins somehow. The great master from the KH3 that gave that goat keyblade to his last apprentice to hold through time will be the key. Yozora will most likely tie into this story from the past somehow just dont know how yet. Nomura is a master storyteller just watch
If Sora is journeying to worlds that contain an afterlife aspect to it, wouldn't that mean that the Star Wars inclusion means he interacts with or becomes a Force Ghost? The lore of Star Wars and how the Force works dovetails perfectly with the idea that those who die can live on in another form/aren't truly dead and can appear to provide counsel to those who need it.
How it's confirmed that KH4 takes place a whole week after MoMs that Riku will also be unable to return home. And shortly after Kairi will go after them and fails to return. Since if we were to see how the adventures that Sora Kairi, Riku and the others we've followed in the series from the view of the people of "Unreality" then what they went through would be considered fictional.
Also, I've seen a video talking about how Kairi's choice of training under Aqua is her first real choice. For context, the video was by Constructing Kingdom and it talked about how Kairi is scared of change and doesn't want to grow up. Which could be related to why she's still a princess of heart. She doesn't want to accept change and keep the innocence of her childhood in tact.
In fact, details from a book was used in the video and it was explained that the idea of a Nobody gaining a new heart was first mentioned in a book before becoming canon in Dream Drop Distance. The details beig that Kairi wondered if Sora prefers short or long hair before cutting it short to match Riku's hair style.

I don't think the jumps to other worlds in unreality will negatively affect Sora, after all Young Xehanort said that the Power of Waking is meant to cross hearts to reach worlds, not the other way around, so as long as he doesn't try to pull what he did at the end of KH 3 he should be fine

@HMK I know notice about Sora’s Doomed Journey I totally remembered & understand to this Kingdom Hearts Story for KH4 I believe he might be able to figure a Another Unfamiliarity World that might help to work for Envision future for Kingdom Hearts IV ❤️🖤🖤🖤in Quadratum that might be have some new powers to dived that twist of story plot for Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Donald & Goofy all of them they might do something that has a good connection with Sora when it comes to him he might have Reality & Unreality memory when it comes to the The Master Of The Masters/Sigurd Theory that might be able to create Luxu/Brain timeline just like how you said on the Previous Livestream Discussion on Twitch with: Erika Harchler, RogerBase, Ndukauba, Soraalam1 & Paul Castro Jr like referring to collaborate the familiar Disney various scenes of death afterlife timeline Story stuff like: Soul, Coco, Princess And The Frog like for me Another example that might be able to tie into the death 💀 was: Raya And The Last Dragon it might be another true timeline story when you saw on Raya misses Papa he was caught & has a death rock stone story Druun now I really saw that movie in 2021 it was very good I hope they put Kumandra section For that new (Disney Themed World) & I would really like & love ❤️ to see Pandora section for Avatar that might be cool same thing with Star Wars & Marvel Cinematic Universe I hope we can see a New York (Marvel Themed World section) that might be able to see that Familiar vibe with the Endgame can you exactly imagine that HMK that would be in my own pathway direction that’s what I think that should do in KH4.
@HMK Imagine that Sora can able to use the “Flow Of Kumandra Heart Keyblade” In Raya And The Last Dragon that might be able to make sense now I could see that happening as a Foreseeable Future for Kingdom Hearts 4 I believe he could the Dragon Keyblade so I could see that as a connection with Raya because she lives in Heart there are 5 Lands in this Kumandra Area those five separate kingdoms are: Fang, Heart, Spine, Talon, Tail so I’ll have to know what this is happening & shape of the dragon that might be the meaning to figure that shape it connects to the future for Raya’s Journey what happened & how she’s returning to the Dragon Gem pieces so they all connect as a one big family that all people & Dragon are living in a same place In Kumandra.
I did like the theory that because Quadradum is supposed to be like an afterlife of sorts, it might mean that Sora can still traverse to worlds similar to the ones that we are used to, but go to properties that show more of an afterlife perspective, I think it would be cool to see Coco as it would be sort of like a nighmare before christmas-ish world. It would also be interesting to see just how far they go when it comes to bouncing between different art styles, up to this point, even though Sora Donald and Goofy do change looks in each world to "blend in" because other than Pirates, they are more animated Disney and now Pixar, they have been able to get away with very similar "artstyles" going from world to world, but since at least the Hub or "unreality " is in a more real world setting it could be really interesting, at least from an artists/animaters perspective.
I also know not everyone is crazy about the new art style so this might put them at ease if it alternates. What I am slightly worried about however is, if they do end up using more live action properties, say, like half and half, that might be a little daunting for some people, I think it worked in the past because it was literally one world so you weren't constantly having to get used to a different art style from world to world.
I feel like they either need to make it so that Quadradum is the only "reality" world and then have the rest be more classic properties that deal with death and the underworld, or, Kingdom hearts 4 needs to shift and focus mainly on worlds with the new style, with like one world at the end where maybe Sora see's Donald and Goofy again and it gives him more hope that he's getting closer.
I honestly love that idea for world traversal in kh4. No more gummi ship (cuz obviously D&G aren't there, nor does it fit the perceived mood of the game) but using/utilizing the power of waking and/or the keyblade and opening pathways to get from world to world. Not even really getting a choice of where to go but setting him on a path would be an interesting change. Especially since the path is most often preset by the battle level of worlds anyways by this point, with the only exception coming to mind being KH3D. Personally, I feel like KH4 and his quadratum style would be the best time to pull in IRL disney owned movies, not necessarily animated movies, so I'm hoping for star wars, James Cameron's Avatar, and Indiana Jones make it in, kinda iffy on the mcu, but ngl, seeing a kh easter egg in an mcu movie would be hilarious and hype. And of course, FF worlds.
And that would explain why Donland and Gooby are going to Hades for help, since he's the lord of the underworld. I wonder if we'll be able to meet FF characters like Zack and Auron in this one since they are both dead... Especially Zack.

Well said about the theories of the disney worlds relating to death or the soul. Im also interested to see if they continue adding final fantasy characters.
We never knew where or what world cloud or sephiroth disappeared to after their fight during kingdom hearts 2, be good to see their story continue on during kingdom hearts 4.
And now that we know that donald and goofy are in KH4, as well as leon and the others in radiant garden from the previous game, it would be awesome to see them all help find sora together.

It's Seagurd not Sighgurd. May as well correct it early so people don't go through the Luxord revelation all over again.
I want to add an extra layer to the theory of traversing worlds with themes of death but on a few different criteria. Number one we could see Sora explore worlds with themes of other protagonist characters trying to make their way back to an original place of origin. Different than the one they're currently in to regain some level of what they believe to be normal. Like Owl House, and Amphibia in where Sora actually helps those protagonists get back to where they're meant to be along the way as they also in tern try to help him in whatever way they can with whatever methods they feel could work for Sora. But to help continue the story further those methods just end up flinging Sora into other worlds to help move along the setting of the story like traditional KH.
Which leads me to my next point, of they could make Sora traverse worlds with their own canonical means of interdimensional travel. Like Star vs and Gravity Falls, where we see Sora stumbling around new worlds using portals to hopefully end up in a world he recognizes. But in doing so also ends up with him getting caught up in having to stop the heartless using their connection with Sora to invade these other realities, and he has to stop the heartless in those realities before they become a big problem for everyone there. Which eventually leads to him leaving those worlds and sealing them as he did originally in KH1 and KH2.
Before anyone asks the reason I feel it's safe to say the heartless are following Sora around is the fact that we see a Darkside in the KH4 trailer. And we know unreality is a place where heartless "don't" or more specifically SHOULDN'T exist normally there but clearly that's not true now.
There are two crossover fanfics between this saga and "OUAT" (I'm surprised there aren't like hundreds of them). Sora, Kairie and Riku's story was that Kairie was the princess of a kingdom in the Enchanted Forest that swore to protect the world of light, Sora was her Keyblade knight, and Riku was simply a knight. The Dark Curse separated the three of them and made Sora and Riku enemies, Kairie's fate kinda unknown.
Why am I talking about this ? Ever since I read them and played "Nirvana Initiative", I have been thinking. What if the worlds'saga is meant to suffer a complete reset "Dark Curse" style ? For a new world to be born ? I guess, like Kirari and Yumeko from "Kagegurui", I want to see the universe come to its flashy end, to see its rebirth and what comes out of it.
Actually...I don't think this is something recent. Ever since the first game, when Ansem talked about death, that I could only wonder how this universe's hidden side is ? What lies beyond lign and darkness ? What happens when the light separating them evaporates ? What is left ? Will the dead rise ? Will people be reborn ? The possibilities are endless. And all it takes is someone to perform the heart surgery without being manipulated by neither the power nor the characters.
I just bought the KH collection on switch they seem to have fixed all the issues
Other than the cutscenes lagging a tiny bit which I can look past the game plays pretty good

Would make sense as probably until Kingdom Hearts VI he'll be stuck on that side of things until he not only regains the power of waking at a later point through trials he must go through but more powers those that the Master of Master's cannot see through the No Name Keyblade Eye. This game and the next few are to put Sora on a second chance journey so yes he can come home but only when lessons are learned and worthiness is shown, similar to Riku who had lost the keyblade due to falling to the deepest pit of Darkness with no control and having to learn things and go onto a journey of which then he was worthy to wield a keyblade as he had shown a rebalance and control of his darkness with his light and the willingness to put the safety of others first for the greater good.

I have wanted a Princess and The Frog world for years. I've also wanted a Treasure Planet world and Atlantis world for just as long. The sheer potential for awesome gameplay that these worlds would have to offer would be epic. I always thought that a Treasure Planet world would be the perfect place for Sora to bust out his very own Keyblade Glider, and a Princess and The Frog world in my opinion would not only have some sick looking Heartless and an epic boss battle, but it would be the perfect world to outfit Sora with a darkness themed Keyblade. Ever since I saw the different Keyblade transformations in Kingdom Hearts III, I've wanted to see Sora do a transformation with a darkness themed Keyblade. Yeah, he's the embodiment of light, but seeing him use darkness outside of Anti Form and Rage Form would be epic. You could literally call the Keyblade you get from the Princess and The Frog world "Friend From the Other Side" and have it turn into a witch doctor staff for its transformation; maybe even give Sora a top hat for that extra witch doctor drip. As for the Treasure Planet and Atlantis Keyblades, you could call them "Loot Of A Thousand Worlds" and "Heart of Atlantis" respectively.
something that could be interesting is if they played with the idea that these worlds are storys/unreal to eachother and had sora find some of his freinds storys like toystory and tarzan as fiction on his side while we see the opposite with the others finding storys sora traverses in this new world.

What you just said, pretty much sums up what Sora’s adventures will be like in KH4. The question now is, how? I bet, that in different parts of Quadratum, there are reality breaks at each point. Using the Keyblade to utilize these breaks, will allow Sora to travel to other worlds also considered Unreality. For example, that forest we saw in the trailer has a reality break that will take us to Endor Moon. Travel will be seamless. No loading screen necessary. We may also get something in KH4 (Quadratum only) that we have never gotten before: a day and night cycle, and thus, the reality breaks randomize every so often. For example, at night, the break changes in the forest, from accessing Endor, to accessing the Kingdom of Dunbroch, and when the sun sets or rises, Sora is forced back to Quadratum.
In KH3, Verum Rex is a game in Toy Story world. May be in KH4 we can go to Lightyear world from quadratum side and go to Toy Story world from KH side. reality world and fiction world.
Keep in mind, Sterlizia died and her heart went up into kingdom hearts if she is alive that would mean they are inside of kingdom hearts. Sora can't go home it just isn't possible not now anyway.

After all, Sigurd said Sora could go from one world to the next in the context of whether or not things turned out how he wanted. If he doesn't like how his life is going in one world, he can just go to another and try again, but there's no returning to the world he abandoned. That's the same thing as this recurring plot element in the ancient past (KHUX, Luxu's Secret Reports and the breaking of the World into stars floating amidst darkness). Darkness encroaches and devours the World, so a few are able to escape and survive elsewhere, only for darkness to encroach once again.

Maybe the new kingdom hearts games starting with four will teach fans who grew up with kingdom hearts and Disney that we started in a world of fantasy and fun and friends and as we grew things became more real, harder to deal with and overcome and as much as we want to go back we just can’t go back. We have to except and that might be soras journey? representing us growing up as fans we aren’t in Tarzan‘s world anymore we’re not in Aladdin‘s land we’re in a city working and living in apartments and it gets harder. We wanna go back so bad but that means to die unless we’re already dead. Growing up is the afterlife. Life was a young carefree imagination.

1. Because He must learn the consequences of his actions, and that there is no way for him to return home now.
2. Even if he somehow did find a way back, The Master of Masters is using him as a tracking device, so wherever he goes, the enemy follows. So if Sora does go back home, he'll inevitably bring a shitload of Trouble home with him.
Part of me wonders if Maleficent will be involved in getting Sora back into "reality". It's just an inkling in the back of my mind, but since abusing the Power of Waking is what landed Sora in Quadratum. Maybe there's a counterpart? Maleficent in BBS says to Terra that she has the "Power over Sleep". It sounds like it should be the exact opposite, and maybe that power used to its fullest could bring someone back from "unreality"...? Maybe not, but I can't help but wonder. xD

I wonder if traversal in Quadratum is Reality shifting of sorts, allowing Worldline hopping or if that concept won't be shown in this part of Phase 2. Regardless I like this possibility of showing up in afterworlds. That might mean we may even see some Lion King~? Maybe some Wakanda too, dare we dream?

He looks so similar to Riku, you can see KH4 art work where he show fingers. Hair style and color is almost Riku’s. Not brown but light brown.
Plus he lost his body because of using the power of waking. And he needed physical body to exist. He is like a ghost, that’s why Yozora said I will save you when you lose. But if you beat Yozora, he says my power is not needed yet. That means Sora is strong even if he remains that form: soul + heart. And Yozora knew Riku has come to Quadratum - Secret movie. Sora meets Riku, and then he probably went into Riku’s heart. They share one body now.
I really hope sora gets back home in kh4 and reunite with kairi riku and Wayfinder trio sea salt trio and lost trio ( vanitas namine replica dark riku ) I meant namine instead of vanitas and dark riku because evilness and namine is good. That’s a good theory about the Mom an Sora but I think there is more to it then that. I think the Mom above ALL us thinks Sora is the key no pun intended, to defeating the seven darknesses. Like for thousands of years, he’s been *waiting* for Sora or atleast someone like him to come along. An the fact that Sora has been therw an survived so much throughout his journey so far, as well as defeat Xehanort, an knows what Sora sacrificed just or save his friends. I think when he returns, he will know Sora is the chosen one to either take HIS place, as the new MOM or the one to defeat darkness once an for all.
Question is though.....why Sora? Ephemear could of been the chosen, one to defeat the seven darknesses or even Eraqus, Brain, or Ven etc. So if my theory is correct or if the Mom chose Sora....why 🤔 I hope it’s a good reason too an not some lame reasoning like oh it’s revealed the MOM was actually Sora from the distant future....or the Mom is Sora from an alternate reality. I just hope there is a good reason, why Sora may be the chosen one.
Ever since after seeing the KH3 ending and the Theories about Sora being the MoM makes me think that Sora's journey might end up becoming like Archer Shirou Emiya. Long story short for those who dont know he is a character from Fate Series who started off as a bright idealist who wanted nothing more but to help everyone as a Hero of Justice but unfortunately after signing up as a Counter Guardian and countless years of war and bloodshed, Shirou Emiya realized that he's been living a lie and everything that he thought was nothing more but a childish fantasy which finally broke him and making a decision to kill his younger self.
I really hope Sora doesn't get rescued in kh4, it would feel like a completely pointless plot point for him to return right away. I personally want the entire new Saga to take place in this new reality. I want Sora to accept that this is his new life.

I dunno how doomed Sora really is. At the end of Melody of Memory :Spoilers: Riku is the one to take the portal to Quadratum… not sure how that will greatly affect Sora’s jounrey, but it’s something to keep note of.
