My did 230 downhill... 210 on flat is just normal. The real issue is that fabia is very light car with tiny engine. When I drive alone, it does 0-100 in 9.5s, but if you have over 100kg passenger, 0-100 goes to almost 12s ;)
Tom Magnum Agree, with this small engine you feel every extra kg, but even with 2 people onboard it's fast :)

i have my 1.4 16 valve fabia ..the engine is like hell i love it with a beautiful sound and fast acceleration it is economic car with good quality without any problems ..
Ich hab den Fabia II mit 105 PS und Automatik. Vorher hatte ich einen BMW E46 316ti compact. Der hier aus dem Video mit DSG wird definitiv mein nächster Wagen. Skoda macht einfach geile Autos mit einem klasse Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Czech quality!!!

It is rather fast isn't it? VAG really are perfecting these small eco-friendly engines. The newest VW Golf 7 has a 1.0TSI with 116hp and 200nm that puts this one to shame.
I have the 66kw version chipped and managed to get 216 km/h on speedometer (GPS data not available)... It was a flat road, no downhill. It's pretty insane little car
Getting the DSG soon and after seeing this and your other video, it going to be hard to resist pushing the pedal that much further, I hope the UK spec car holds up to these standards :)

@@tobiasxxx1742 city consumption is around 5-6L/100km and so is 140km/h. I've driven a Skoda of this exact model for the past 3,5 years and the best consumption I ever had was 4,2L/100km when driving 70km/h on the 6th gear.

I have the Skoda Octavia with 86hp (5 gears) and in the city i have 6,5l/100 and till 120km/h (better 70-90) i get down to 5,1l/100, but i have a chiptuning 115-125hp (i dont know), so i am very glad overall. My Highspeed is 190Km/h

Doing 129/130mph in a 1.2 turbo powered car with only 108hp is very impressively, that’s on par with an old 125hp 1.8 mondeo I had years ago and the only speed a 187hp 1.8 Corolla T Sport I had before was capable of too and those were pretty easy going getting there and were expected, guess it shows how engine technology has evolved over the years, so as I’m in a market for one of these 1-1.2 turbo powered cars this video certainly made the decision on these engines even easier, especially in uk with 70mph limit.

My clio mk4 1.5 dci only goes 185 km/h on flat.. The fastest I was going with it was 188kmh downhill. Skoda is awesome little toy 😁

1.2tsi lasts way longer
I have a 2015 model 1.2 tsi fabia, its performance is truly surprising and at a level not expected from fabia. It is a very fast car and this speed works well in traffic. I also saw a maximum of 201 kmh and it was not conscious, I was on a long road and went out without realizing it. No matter what, you should not travel for a long time in a Fabia at speeds above 170.
Der Motor ist recht laut, insbesondere in Ort und beim Auffahren. wurde hier Soundengineering betrieben? also Lautsprecher, die Motorgeräusche verstärken? so wie beim GTI, oder SQ5? könnte ja sein, wenn es ein Monte Carlo ist...

Echt Geiles Auto, hab ein Monte Carlo mit Vollausstattung, geht echt gut und braucht so um die 6,7 Liter, bis jetzt keine Probleme nach drei Jahren auch mit DSG nicht, hab 30000 Kilometer drauf
Mit ein skoda fabia 211km/h klar berg ab wen ich mit meinen skoda Octavia auch fahre und das berg ab schaft mein Auto ca.300km/h

I still prefer my older MK2 all black Fabia MC tech with modified custom exhaust and soon to have map. Mine looks like tough car and it moves and sounds very aggressive.

direncgeil Ich hab den 2er Fabia mit 105 PS...fahre regelmässig Wien-Leipzig und Wien-Kufstein mit 600 bzw. 400km, also relativ lange Strecken fast reine Autobahn. Vorher hatte ich einen 3er BMW E46 compact, Baujahr 2002. Der Fabia ist deutlich angenehmer...für gemütliches Fahren ein Topauto.

Fabia III has 1,2 TSI 110 HP max, look on the configurator of Škoda.
Since mid 2017 it's the 1.0 TSI based on the EA211 evo

Hello. Nice video. I'm thinking about this car and I have a question. What about the fuel consumption driving on 6th gear at 140 km/h with cruise control on?
Thank you and sorry but i can't give you an answer to your question. As you can see the area where i allways make the videos is very mountainous. Because of this i have never a constant consumption, even if i drive at the same speed with cruise control.

Depends on how many people are in the car and if you have heavy load. For example in our Fabia III Combi (110 HP) with 4 people and medium load it was something about 6,8 l, but with two people and minimum load it was 6 l for 130-140 km/h.
Przy bardzo ostrożnej jeździe z użyciem tempomatu między 6, a 6,5 litra na 100. W zależności od wiatru, nachylenia terenu i ruchu :) Dochodzi jeszcze parę czynników i można zejść niżej, ale nie warto zamulać silnika :) Pzdr.

Would you mind telling me the fuel consumption after this ride?
It probably avarages at 12-14 liters if you drive like this, if you keep the rpm as low as possible you can get away with 6-8 liters. As long as you stay out of boost range its pretty economical.
It can get up to 5L/100km @130km/h in 6th gear on a straight and level road. Source: myself

Die 1.2 Liter Maschine hat 4 Zylinder. Erst die 1.0 Motren von Mitte 2017 haben "nur" 3 Zylinder.

Der Fabia in dem Video ist ein Schalter richtig ? Das 6/7 Gang DSG im Fabia würde ihn mit dem 110PS Motor zwar insgesamt noch flotter fahren lassen (allein vom Gefühl her) jedoch hat VW AG wohl immer noch Probleme mit dem DSG insbesondere dessen Motronic..
Normen G ja, ist ein Schalter. Genau deshalb wird meiner auch kein DSG haben.
Hört der sich bei 200 echt so laut an oder ist der in Echt leiser ?
Diese Frage zu beantworten ist fast unmöglich. Es kommt ja alleine schon darauf an, wie laut du deine Lautsprecher/Kopfhörer hast. Und ja, der Kleine entwickelt natürlich eine gewisse Geräuschkulisse bei der Geschwindigkeit und Motordrehzahl, aber als Fahrer nimmt man das in dem Moment nicht so wahr, da man eher auf das Fahren an sich konzentriert ist und zum anderen fährt man diese Geschwindigkeit auch nicht über einen längeren Zeitraum. Den besten Tipp den ich dir geben kann, um dir selbst ein ungefähres Bild zu machen und den Fabia zu vergleichen ist, lass die Lautsprecher/Kopfhörer die du nutzt auf der selben Lautstärke und schau dir andere Videos von mir an. Da ich die Aufnahmeeinstellungen immer gleich habe, kannst du so zumindest vergleichen welcher lauter und leiser ist. Leider gibt dir das nur immer noch kein tatsächliches Bild wie laut/leise sich das in der Realität anhört und wie man das als Fahrer tatsächlich wahrnimmt.

Auto je poháněno benzínovým motorem o objemu 1,2 l, s výkonem 81 kW spřaženým s manuální převodovkou. Tento výkon je dostatečný pro univerzální použití. Zrychlení na 100 km/h za 9,6 s znamená příjemně svižné svezení. Nejvyšší možná rychlost 199 km/h nenadchne ani neurazí.

Laut Konfigurator auf der Skoda Seite, geht es mit dem Motor bei etwas über 17000 los.
Ist schon sehr viel Geld für einen Kleinwagen...
Als EU- Importauto bekommt man den Fabia rund 30% unter Listenpreis. Ich habe für meinen mit guter Ausstattung und Listenpreis 20.300,- Euro beim Importeur 14.500,- gezahlt. Das ist dann schon ein sehr guter Gegenwert für das Geld. Qualitativ deutlich besser als z.B. ein Ford Fiesta.

Irgendwie sind die Topspeeds immer im (gleichen?) Gefälle egal welches Fabrikat und PS getestet wird ;-) Gerade Strecke wäre interessanter , mein TSI 66kW schafft bei leichten Gefälle auch an die 205
Franz Bauer Hallo Franz, bei mir im gesamten Umkreis geht es leider Bergauf Bergab, da müsste ich schon ne ganze Ecke weit weg fahren um eine gerade Strecke mit ohne Tempobegrenzung zu haben. Daher wird es in Zukunft zum grössten Teil auch weiterhin bei mir so bleiben.
