Matt is a modern guitar god, to me he's one of the few that doesn't just play his guitar, he makes it sing.

I love how Muse make their studio songs sound amazing live. I wasnt a fan of this song off the album but it absolutely slaps live.

Ok super random, I'm noob about music (which means absolutely knows nothing about it) I'm a first year general surgery resident and my attending always listen to the genre you reacted on (told ya I know nothing, forgive me pls), it keeps him alert and pumped up during surgeries. And, there's this unique tradition on our department, newbie gotta try to make a playlist for him, I found your account like yesterday from your Nyango Star reaction video and I made a playlist of the songs you reacted on to play in last night's surgery. Long story short, I got complimented for the first time in my life as a resident and that's for the playlist. So for that, I thank you to high heaven. Sorry that I'm babbling and for the bad english, it's not my first language and I haven't slept in 2 days. Anyway, great contents! Subscribed!

Im an... i guesss the English translation is Clinical Nurse Specialist here in Austria, and we also have surgeons with special playlists...most of the time its classical stuff but we also have one who prefers Muse Genre music...:)

My old flatmate has a child with cancer. Any dollar makes all the difference. I really love MUSE, their songs from album to album create an entirely different feel. I understand and laughed my ass off wen you said it sounded like a youtube song. With MUSE you have to kind of... let them do their thing. They always surprise.

Hey DH, this one is one of my fav mellow songs, love the build up and what it can stand for depending on the meaning you want to give to the song. I agree with the score, loving Muse coming back to the channel.

I feel like Muse has that magical touch where they know when to kick it up a notch precisely 2 seconds before the listener would get bored.

Closest i come in that matter is, Leprous - Castaway angels.
Muse definitely have a U2ness about them, especially in this song. They establish the atmospherics at the forefront really well, against a strong steady rhythm. he build on this song is also similar to a typical U2 slow build. As others have stated, Muse played "Where The Streets Have No Name" at Glastonbury with Edge joining them. They were a replacement for U2 that year, as they had to back out due Bono needing surgery. Matt was great in the cover of Streets, but NO, he is NOT better than Bono. He doesn't have the level of grounded passion that Bono has, but can really hit the high notes. Matt's vocals have a more clean delivery. I LOVE both bands and have seen both more than 5 times each. With Muse in particular, it has been great to see their growth, as I watched them from medium-size club type venues to Arena extravaganzas. I had not watched that level of growth with U2, as the first time I saw them, they had already reached stadium tour level (although, my first show was arena)
Long overdue for some new (or any) AlterBridge (Pawns and Kings, or Fable of the Silent Son) or Myles Kennedy (Love can only Heal, or Ides of March)!! Been a looong time🤔

The slooooowwwessssttt build ever, yet it went by so fast and gave a nice little payoff at the end. An 8.0 makes perfect sense. Probably not a song DH would ever put on a playlist, but an objectively nice listen.
This song got a lot of hate from "Muse purists" for years after it came out. I can't stand "Muse purists" 😂
Folks who just want the same muse song on 14 albums don’t appreciate the artists that Muse are. Even if some songs aren’t my cup of tea, their musical genius is ever present. They can do literally anything!!
