      The handlebars were LOW RISE DIRTBIKE/PITBIKE, PRO TAPER handlebars they come with matching renthal bar.
      They were very wide, I actually cut the ends off until they were as long as I needed.
      Also have a BENG-GUO matching colour mobile phone holder handlebar mount
      And matching colour 360 degree action cam handlebar mount
      All very cheap upgrades from ebay, search around you can find everything even cheaper than what I paid.

    • @oraclescave
      @oraclescave  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Totally crap bud, bogist c1 pro is the better scooter by a country mile.
      That scooter is also known by the M4 AND T4, its junk, the bracket that clamps shut has a high failure rate, also the plastic lights trim, indicators all fall off, so does the rear mudguard, and I have come across loads of them that have had faulty batteries.
      The bogist c1 pro, is solid built, looks good, has zero failures, and I have treated mine very badly and its still going strong.
      I have also been keeping my eye out for faulty ones, so I can grab them cheap cheap, but have not found a single one yet.
      My absolute opinion would be avoid that other scooter at all costs, its just mot worth it even if you get a good deal.
      Bogist C1 pro, is by far the better scooter, and I'm not just saying that because I own one.
      I researched these for a long time before taking the risk getting the bogist c1 pro, and I have never stopped blowing its trumpet, I abuse the hell out of mine and it has not broke, nor has anything fell off and I use it everyday unless it's bucketing down with rain.
      Best scooter in its price range by far.
      I hope this helps your decision making, and keeps you away from faulty products.

      Trust me bud this will be perfect, I regularly do 15 miles plus on mine, and I don't treat it nice either, it gets launched off any hump, bump or tree root I find at whatever speed I'm doing at the time, which is pinned wide open lol
      Looks good, built solid, and in my opinion better than nearly every other scooter in its class, doesn't have the faults of some of the others, and the fact I abuse mine and it still holds up, just proves its tough enough.

    • @oraclescave
      @oraclescave  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      When your scooter is new it does take very far to make battery go down.
      With lithium batteries, look at the battery indicator when you are driving to get proper reading.
      When you stop, the battery will look higher, but when you ride, the true power will be displayed as you are riding.
      So if you get on and drive, check battery meter.
      Not when it is standing still.

    Hi there! Is it waterproof as they say? And when it climbs some big hills, can make it over or dies? thanks

    • @oraclescave
      @oraclescave  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I drive through anything in my way, mud, really wet mud, and puddles that send waves, I would not advise that with electronics in general, but this seems fine.
      I don't use the seat, so I have a little piece of electrical tape covering the bolt hole.
      And big steep hills you have no chance, even some of the dual motor scooters struggle with big hills.
      But if you gi e it the beans before hitting the hill most of the time you will make it up most of the hills.
      My advice is if it drops down to about 4 miles an hour on a hill I just push it.
      But you start to plan routes out so that you are doing your uphill in the beginning, and keep your downhill and flat ground for the last part of your trip, it seems to last forever.
      Really good well built machine at an awesome price, what a blast, feels loads faster that it actually is.
      On any normal trip I still encounter 3-4 hills and sometimes I'm doing 3-4 laps of a route.
      So hills don't kill the battery, but if it hits "STRUGGLE MODE" on a hill, just know that this is actually the motor battery and speed controller at their limits.
      Going full speed wide open throttle on flat ground only actually uses half the power output, the more it picks up speed the less power the motor needs.
      So if you find mainly flat ground this thing will go for miles more.
      Basically if you would struggle to walk up it, you would struggle to scooter up it.
      It's only 500w but drives like 1000w

    Is it possible to upgrade the battery? Like plug and play with a bigger one?:)

    • @oraclescave
      @oraclescave  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      There is plenty of space for bigger battery and yes it would plug and play, also I have seen someone using a good speed controller and running the 500w motor at over 2000w.
      So this scooter is very upgradable.
      I just think if you upgrade, the screen becomes useless.
      My battery clunk's about quite a bit when I'm offroad, so I'm going to open the bottom and add some packing foam to support the battery, but I am also on the lookout for a battery that will fit the whole space.
      There's a TH-cam channel called VORTECKS
      He is currently boosting his, you should check him out.

      @@oraclescave i was thinking about getting a battery with like 20ah to get more range, and maybe upgrade the motor later on:)

    • @oraclescave
      @oraclescave  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@KingHouseClan adding a second motor the same as the back motor, to the front and make it a dual motor.
      Then the bigger hills become no issue
      Speed controller to bring the motor power upto 1000w each
      And 20AH battery
      This scooter would match some of the super high end ones.
      They only get 20 minutes ride time because they are like 5600w
      Our scooters would be amazing with just 2000w dual motors.
      Just keep your eye out for a cheap bogist scooter, the battery and motor will be well worth it and the rest would be very handy spares for when bits start to wear out.
      Then it would just be a decent speed controller.
      I love my scooter, but getting used to the power leaves me hungry for more, I would rather upgrade mine than just buy a bigger one.
      It's the perfect size and borderline perfect weight and not too threatening to the people I meet on the trails.
      Those high end ones are bigger than mopeds lol.
      I might even get in touch with vortecks and get one of the carbon fibre mudguards he is making right now, very cool looking when the light hits it.
      But the overall easiest way to boost power is to change the speed controller, and that will eat your battery faster, so a bigger battery is a must.
      Then there is also a way to run a second battery, could be stuck on to the steering stem and have another connector added on the scooter, then you would be able to get thos big lipo RC batteries
      (packet lipo) style instead of 18650 style cells, much lighter and cheaper and easier to get online, easier to switch out and charge.
      Bigger speed controller and external battery addon is the quickest cheapest way to upping the power massively and range.

      Be brave and go fourth young JEDI.
      GREATNESS AWAITS YOU
      I just used some speaker wire to extend it, only needed a couple of inches.
      You could get away with just twisting the wires together, but I soldered mine because I ride rough.
      The throttle has 3 wires, so I just stripped one side of speaker cable into a single piece to make 3 wires.
      And just wrapped everything in electrical tape very tight, shrink tubing would be best but wrapping tape tight works just the same really.
      I also marked the wires with masking tape and a letter A,B,AND C
      Just so I did not get mixed up, as the cables on scooter were coloured but my speaker wire was just black.

    • @oraclescave
      @oraclescave  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes I absolutely recommend this scooter above any other scooter in its price range.
      BUT,
      If you get caught riding it on public land, you could be charged by the police, and when you are old enough to pass your driving licence, you will pass but will be immediately BANNED from driving for 2 years.
      Just because the punishment won't really take place until you pass your licence.
      So it would be an awesome gift, ONLY if you have some place you would be able to ride it without doing it illegally.
      Electric scooters are a very touchy subject with the law.
      My honest opinion for any 12 year old would be....
      STAY AWAY FROM THESE ELECTRIC SCOOTERS
      As you will end up in more trouble than it's worth.
      I take chances all the time, but eventually even I will end up in big trouble.
      Make sure you choose wisely, a driving licence is one of the most important things you can get.
      It changes your life.
      Do not ride on roads with electric scooters, this will get you charged by the police very fast.
      Please pay attention to this
      Too many TH-camrs spread the wrong message making younger people think its OK to ride scooters in the places that they ride them.
      When in actual fact, it's completely illegal and could get you or possibly mum or dad, could be charged and banned from driving.
      Be safe, think smart

    • @oraclescave
      @oraclescave  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Do you put SLIME into your tyres ? I never experienced any issue after doing this, tyres were better than any other scooter tyre.
      And the only water protection I found it needed was a little bit of hot glue where the wires enter the body and where one of the screws from the seat had been.
      I have had 6 different scooters now from £250- £1600 and I would still say the bogist is best bang for buck scooter ever made.
      Neat design, great Suspension, good speed, good Tyres, really good electronic breaks, easy to lift and load into a car or up stairs.
      And parts are very cheap if needed to be replaced.
      It's unfortunate for yours to have these faults, but sounds like you may not have taken the necessary precautions before riding in the wet.
      I had already put 1300km onto mine in the wet before I waterproofed it and never experienced any electrical issues.
      Sold mine with 5700km on the clock and still running great, and I abused the he'll out of it.
      Riding through puddles
      Riding down stairs
      Doing jumps
      Long trips through bumpy woods.
      Slime in tyres and hot glue in holes and chopped up yoga block to support the battery and electronics from banging around inside was all it needed to last.
      I also done same thing to my £1600 scooter.
      Definitely use slime in your tyres, this is the best upgrade you can do.

      @@oraclescave Hi! Yes, slime is the right solution. Since I use it, more than 600 km. no problems with the tires. Concerning the moisture - the motor controller is well protected. But the lights controller was glued to the lower plate, which, I think, is a great mistake. After I fixed it, I mounted it in the upper part of the box. No more issues.
