I think DLC/Expansion sounds most realistic and if, its probably one one the later ones to release. For Space, you would have to create a lot of unique textures and probs you couldnt really use anywhere else. But I certainly could see an Blood and Wine-Type DLC in Space, maybe another one that fleshes out the Badlands more? Its possible.
@@grafikpapstthey could make it like you can travel to certain space station/mini city, and there's an cut scene which shows you travel, then you land on the space station and there are only building areas where you travel/sneak around and find some sci-fi/spacey weapons and do missions like find an intruder who is trying to take over the space station and catch him for a reward . Near Space has so much to offer in a Cyberpunk environment. Look at Total Recall, The Martian, Red Faction, Moon, Enterprise, Ad Astra, 2001, Interstellar, and Outland for ideas of what a near future space adventure could look like. Neuromancer itself is set on an orbital colony called Straylight, very similar to CP2020's Crystal Palace. I'd love to see more lore about Crystal Palace, the Lunar and Martian colonies, and The Belt.
A corporate lunar moon base would be a cool dlc maybe the mining industry for rare metals became so large that the central mine town would be sprawling slums all domed off with the night sky or earth being viewable through the dome ceiling
The highriders as a concept is astounding to me. Like, just imagine meeting another human and they say "Oh yeah, I've never been to Earth, what's it like?"
Or get some space stuff like metals or rocks that are rare. I’m also guessing that if your a corpo you blackmail someone to get on the rocket. If you go nomad you kill someone and pretend to be part of the crew. And street kid might hide in a closet or something.
If Witcher 3 is anything to go by, a moon level would probably function like Isle of mists as a "point of no return" in the story The more I go back to W3, the more I see similarities to the upcoming Cyberpunk: Night City/Badlands seems analogous to Novigrad/Velen, you even have a border crossing quest for both games and Novigrad was a "free city" in the same manner Night City is independent from either the New USA (Nilfgaard parallel?) or Free State of North California (Redania?) Perhaps since the moon is ruled by the EEC, the Europeans or High Riders could function in the story like the Alder Folk (Aen Elle) in Witcher? The EEC in the lore already has a sort of Wild Hunt-style presence because they are more powerful than USA and already destroyed a few US cities with their mass driver
maybe we'll head up there to retrieve some hardware or sync some data manually before diving back down. Possibilities are near endless as to where this could go, very hopeful for space side of things.
The one thing I'm interested in, which i haven't seen talked about much, is how detailed outfit/clothing customization is. Perhaps I overlooked it in the deluge of QnAs and news, but I'm curious as to how that will work. Will we get to mix and match tops, pants, boots, jackets, etc? Will we be able to reskin or color change clothing?

I hope the DLC will be like hearts of stone in the Witcher 3.. Maybe the cop that arrests you and Jackie when you're trying to steal the car (looks similar to Gaunter O'dimm) comes up to you later in the story and gives you some tasks that seem impossible, one of those involving going to space, maybe even another small planet that you can explore the entirety of.. A lot of opportunities for CDPR..
On your pre-order question, with the game coming out in November, I would assume that at the end of the month you should still be able to pre-order. I'm pretty sure pre-ordering games generally don't have a time limit beyond actual release, and after the release you can still get it.

You know what I love about Cyberpunk 2077 and especialy CD Project Red? The fact that still, even with everything they've shown us and all the background material, we have no clue what's really going to happen in the full game, what it's even really about and so much more!

I think that The crystal palace can be an expansion in the near future, and orbital Air must be in the game although not shown in the World of cyberpunk 2077 lore, It was advertised in the 45 min demo and in the nomad life path trailer you can observe an orbital air spacecraft.
Regarding the similarity between Cyberpunk and Shadowrun (aaaand there are some high lvl shadowruns that goes to space) it is more than possible to have an future dlc with a trip to space.
My imagination on the orbital island tells me an anti organic chemical attack will hit night city in late game main story , Like in grimes music video and depending on player build they got like 5 options . 1 stay human flee the city to space orbit. 2 join alt and become cyber entity. 3 become full mech like Adam smasher. 4 neutralize the chemical threat diverting the kill signal in heroic defiance. 5 do nothing and melt like wicked witch in the extinction event.
If they do a big map expansion like blood and wine it seems the obvious thing to do is go to space. But tbh I think going to a different country would be cool. I'd love to see what the Soviet Union looks like in the 2070s
I think this will be out of touch for Cyberpunk's Nature of game if we will travel in Space. Let Starfield do its take for Space Exploration whilst Cyberpunk is in Earth.
@@Adrenalin844 In Deus ex, there's a moonbase that uses a mass driver to haul lunar ore back to earth for profit. There was supposed to be a mission to the moon to stop an ai but it was cut out into the final game.

The Crystal Palace would make a cool setting for a Dead Money style heist, which would pretty much be like the second half of Neuromancer.

Yeah but why? You will not be able to see your cloths, maybe just in reflections and/or mirrors because the game is FPP only
in the deep dive video you can see there are 6 slots for clothing so i think you can mix and match different clothing to your liking
