What do we know about Santiago? I found more dialogue with Saul who mentions Santiago a little more when V asks if he knows of Santiago. He jeers "Do you know our lord and savior Jesus Christ?" Maybe I just hadn't found this dialogue until now but I think this was added in the later 1.5~6 updates..
A game based around the Thelas Nation would be really interesting. I'm imagining something like a blend of Cyberpunk 2077 and Deus Ex with Assassin's Creed Black Flag.

The nomad player class in Cyberpunk 2020 was about family. The nomads class skill represented their connection with a larger family/clan network. A nomad PC could get tips, a hiding place, a little backup etc from their extended family. It goes both ways, if you play a nomad PC you are the face of that family to the outside world and all you do will reflect on them. And their problems are all your problems. The family structure is the big difference between nomads and just a gang with cars.

There's so much lore that I honestly feel like I'll be able to better appreciate the game watching videos like this than I would be going in blind. Like, if I didn't have this knowledge and was told to pick a Nomad nation in the game... I'd be forced to choose at random.
I can tell from the accent of this person that he is not American but I do want to point out that bloods and crips in the US are indeed National Organized Crime groups even though people like to group them as simple thugs killing each other lol. Gangs in Chicago are much less organized and chaotic and nothing like gangs from California. If you pay attention really close attention you will see that in general crips and bloods are actually like the nomads in real life and arent just two one massive gangs they are hundreds of not thousands of smaller groups especially in California who fly the same flag and certain groups again (ESPECIALLY IN CA) have moved towards legitimacy in business and entertainment and it has nothing to do with being diverse and having people from foreign countries involved lmao 😂.
