- All these aftermarket bumpers have no where to mount your license plate. Why not? We all need license plates to drive on the road. 🤔
Both my Fab Fours Stubby Front Bumper and JCR Offroad Rear Crusader Bumper don't come with a place to mount a license plate. So, I had to get creative and figure out something myself. This was my solution! 😅

if you have a rear mounted spare tire. just build up a wired bracket to mount the plate and light in the spare. removable to change the tires.
if you have a winch up front. use the 4D cell mag light brackets on your roller fair-lead, to mount the plate bracket (no light required on the front plate). worried about it falling off. just ad on a 1/8 in cable safety wire to "catch it".
my app is a 1984 cj-7. so your mounts will vary per your wants/needs.

Not sure if you fixed your front license plate mod yet but if you haven’t check out C4 Fab, instead of a flip style you just have to large screws when you want to use your winch, but the biggest problem would be is that your license plate could get stolen easily. They market to Toyota but it still works. I used it on a Jeep and I bought another one to install on my Bronco when I get ready to install my winch.

Good solution but for now, I’ll stick with the zip ties. ..to tell you the truth, I haven’t put back my front plate since I made this video. 😅
