Project X aren't delivering. So, I make my own AMBER ROOF LIGHTS!

I bought these Project X Offroad FF.70 Roof Lights via RTR and Fun-Haver. All their promos show amber lights. I've contacted Project X and have been told they're coming soon... for the past 18 months! So, I decided to make my own. This is my journey! 😅
It's my version of DIY,.. G.E. DIY! (watch the video to find out what G.E. is 😆)

@@neverendingweekendwill do. So far I added one sticker to the rear window, and a front vanity plate. I just ordered brand new wheels today. The outer banks has one of the oddest wheels I’ve ever seen. Only 18s on this vehicle. Smh

I too have been begging Project X for more options in light covers and they have not shown any interest in making them. Last I talked they are not even on the table. Really not sure why. Shame because I love their lights. They did mention that if I make my own covers like u did. To make sure I chose a specfic color due to what you experienced. I'll go back and ask what that color was again. Something to do with their lights being a specific type of white that washes out the amber tint that you applied.

I’m going to try a ‘yellow’ vinyl. It’s funny how I choose the colour by name and not visually. I just assumed they were ‘amber’ but they’re obviously visually yellow.
Project X told me they were planning on making the yellow covers, but like I said in the video, they keep saying ‘soon’ but it’s been over almost 2 years now. 🤷‍♂️
