I’d like to think my marriage has traditional gender roles. If my wife had a tiring day, she’d ask me to make dinner. I have no problems with this, I consider myself a good cook and love to take that off her plate if she needs it.
During one meal preparation, she started criticizing some of my methods. Then she complained that my dinner plans would take too long to prep. This annoyed the hell out of me. Don’t ask me to make dinner then be a back-seat cook.
You know what, my meal was delicious! I did kick her out of the kitchen though.(not literally).
