That's my transcription, I made it in 1987, Leo Brouwer and many guitarist knows about this arrangement. I played it in Radio France guitar competition in 1990. Most of the guitarist that are now playing probably were born after that date!! If someone would like to receive the score, I could send it. Felices tresillos!! Eduardo Baranzano
So, congratulations, Minh! You arrived to the same place that I arrived 30 years ago!And better, because you read in E major and 2 staves (original from piano) and after you are playing in D major!I gave the score to Jesus Ortega in Cuba in 1990, Rene knows it,I'm sorry. I didn'nt wanted to be bad with you. Ciao
Hey could I please get the score Eduardo? Im currently learning fingerstyle guitar and Arabesque has been a song that I have loved ever since I first heard the polyphonic version on my old phone :D Oh how I would just love to know how to play it.Thanks so much! Minh you are an excellent guitarist, keep it up! :)
Watched a lot of Arabesque classical guitar arrangements and styles played on TH-cam, but this is the best. You have captured the spirit of the piece here, in form, in feel and in tone. Brilliant.
Minh Nguyen Oh my...!! He is the one I've been looking for! Once I watched an arabesque video that he uplaoded, but I can't find it since a year ago. Where can I watch his video?
funny. you play this awesome tune then at the end you look at the camera like WASSUP? hahahahha Man, I wish I had long thin fingers and could rewind some years to get good at classical stuff. I wouldn't play anything but stuff like this. Reminds me of legend of zelda somewhat. That dom 7 add 9 I guess is what it is. Anyway, very nice and those harmonics at the end were crazy.
Good Lord WHY does this not have about 1 million views? He plays this almost as if the technical aspects of this are non-existent! Fantastic playing!!!!
Just want to thank you for putting this online, every now and then I listen to it and it really inspires me. I'm a classical guitarist of 35 years and can really appreciate what you're doing. My favorite Debussy piece, and you play it wonderfully. Thank you!
Outstanding. That was a pleasure to my ears and my soul. The arrangement is brilliant and it is flawlessly played, not only the technique, but the very soul and colors of the music. It's about 02:00AM at Rio de Janeiro, and that was by far the best listening of the night. Keep the good work and thank you.
This is so good. The other guitar transcriptions on TH-cam aren't anywhere near this. I will pay you for the sheet music\tab! Pretty sure I'm not the only one...
You are SIMPLY AMAZING!!!!!!! This song has been my favorite for the last 3 months but I've only heard it on piano, orchestral strings, and marimba until today!!!!!! Love it.
Damn. Just... Dayum. That was intense, my friend. I didn't even know it was possible on a guitar. That harmonic arpeggio was sick, dude. You killed it. Subbed for brilliance.
This melody is beautiful, the emphasis on attention drawing the feeling of these chords encompasses our deepest thoughts. Leaving us with amazement and the feeling of the unknown.
One of my favourite all time pieces of music performed on guitar. First heard it being played by Mario Parodi...still have an ageing record with a collection of similar works. Extremely well played...thanks for bringing such beauty into existence by your performance.
as I watched your amazing video I was struck with an idea that scared me. people have less time to enjoy anything art related. music like yours is looked at and heard as something of novelty, when it's anything other than that Sir. happy playing.
Very beautiful done...I'm a gitarist by hobby.I wish to play like that...I know practice practice........and Debussy is a genious..Take care...cheers..from a Dutchman...
Just absolutely outstanding, i really loved the arrangement. This really inspires to me continue to practicing and hopefully i'll be able to play this as eloquently and precise as this

Hello Eduardo,
Honestly, I didn't even know your transcription. I learned this piece straightly from the piano score with the help of Rene.

Oh my...!!
He is the one I've been looking for!
Once I watched an arabesque video that he uplaoded, but I can't find it since a year ago.

Minh Nguyen Did he delete his video?
It was actually transcribed by Eduardo Baranzano in 1990, who played it for an international competition in France and won.
Please try to hear Yeram Yoon
Easily the best played arabesque on TH-cam
Elevator man was a nice touch. Great mise-en-scene.
An example of a real talent without any of the fake glamour others show off. Kudos to you, brother. Keep leaping high!
You nail the phrasing that makes it come alive! I'm dancing in the rain...
A beautiful rendition of one of the most admired pieces from Claude Debussy.
