I like the Jeff Beck influence on that first groove. The thing that sets you apart from most shredders is your keen melodic sense and versatility. Great stuff!
I agree it's commonplace to say shredders lack emotion... cause virtuosos are oftentimes too submerged in technical showcase. They seem to forget "musical muggles" don't care about technique or gear, but are drawn to great songs and emotional connection. Not this lady!!! I am really tempted to buy her courses altough I am not playing regulary these days, it's a dream of mine that I will be able to play stuff like this.
It's so amazing to see an artist create a new, unique musical genre. Especially when they are firebreathers like Irene. She's original, and 100% baddass.
The lady has developed her style. And it is quite appealing. If she were on a lot of records and got a lot of exposure one would be able to tell it was her on guitar just by hearing her on a song on the radio. Few guitarists have "their" recognizable sound and style. Like Santana, Gilmore, Walsh, etc and guitarists like them.
I just closed my eyes. I hear little hints of others but what it really is is you've developed your own cool sound. You're quite an excellent player. Good for U!
Came across her videos recently and lovin' it. She is really good. And I find she has been around for a while. Like to see her play with Satriani..... would be cool! You go Irene!
After a years of trying to play polyphia, slap, thump down up, fretting hand muted, double pluck index, middle finger, non stop technique, i don’t feel it.. This music lot more fun! She’s got few tricks!
Wow! Who is the genius playing that guitar? Maybe Jeff Beck, Steve Vai, Joe Satriani or John Petrucci...? No way! It's Irene Ketikidi!!! 🤘 PS: I would have liked to be in the shoes of that guy who appears on camera and has the privilege of hearing it so close... Obviously the full track!
And just for your information, the two titles of this performance are reversed. The first track is Snake Eyes and the second Hyde&Shake. But thanks for uploading this beautiful content. 🤘

I think this is super boring. The tone sounds like out of pod 1 on a standard patch. No good melodies. Just noodeling with the same tone. No playing dynamics. Dondt touch me.

Ha! A bit of good fortune had me recently stumble onto Irene and her exceptional music- thought right away 'Beck fan detected!'
@@RTDF516 She does have something special!

SHE IS MARVELOUS !!!!!!
This lady is really gifted! Love her style and sound. I heard Steve Vai did so either. His appreciation is like a knighthood!

Was listening without watching and could hear some Jeff Beck in there. A talented lady and love listening to her

Presence, groove, artistic, attractive and into it.
Wow ! Amazing guitarist!! Just ran across her recently on YT!! Really enjoy her unique sound!! So great! More please ;)) Thanks Irene!!
OMG! Irene's so amazing, so much commitment. When did we last see a female guitarrist like her? Jennifer Batten and Bonnie Raiitt for sure and?😎🤩
Yeah, she's great. Check for Lari Basilio. You might like her playing too.

✨️🕺🎸🎶💯
This woman is the future.
I am from Brazil. 05/2024
Sharp.
HER SOUND REMEMBERS A LITTLE AS LIKE PINK FLOYD
ΤΙ ΕΠΑΘΑ!!!!
ΚΑΙ ΠΡΕΠΕΙ ΝΑ ΠΑΩ ΓΙΑ ΥΠΝΟ!!!
Some jeff beck vibes here real cool
Great tone. Anyone could Sound good with that tone and delay
That oblivious guy in the background at 02:46...Dude, WTF!!!
Indeed what a … I guess he wanted his moment of fame😂
I've been using Rotosound strings for over twenty years now. I've tried other strings and they just don't last, sound or feel the same to me.
That's great to hear!
κορυφή
"Performed with the likes of Nita Strauss" ...... just my opinion, NITA can't carry Irene's jockstrap ... even for a minute.
Flavours of Jeff Beck coming out there.
il y a beaucoup d'influence d'autres guitaristes. je me trompe peut-être.
Second tune, Phrygian Dominant, sounds like Satriani.
A G3 JAM MAYBE?

Eat you're heart out joe sat.

Does anyone happen to know what guage she uses?
She said 10s
Yes! Our Roto Yellows which are 10-46
Standard tuning. She has great hands to be using 10s.
