Hi Chris, great video. I just finished my first project. Not that I’m any expert but my main takeaway was, not to get distracted and end up with two goals of the project. Your points of just getting started and keeping it local are really important. We can make things complicated later. For me it was also important to focus on the process and completing the project during the time I had available. Keep up the good work!

a project can be a goal, my goal is to photograph at least one 1 face in nature, 1 flower a day, and at least 1 bird of prey a month for 2024. It makes me go outside and think.
Using a project as a goal setting tool is also a great idea! I love those goals you've set yourself, Dave! Some lovely variety and a great excuse for getting out in nature with your camera which is what it's all about - I can definitely relate to that! Thanks for watching and commenting!
