The gang of Sass, Gadget, Soap, et. al.. were all there the day Rifle brought the brick to Neel's Gap. I thought it was pretty hysterical that he'd done that and then later when I heard that it moved and was further north....and then nearing N.E. I rooted for it to make it all the way. Love that it made it to Mama K and will be interested to see if it makes it back to Rifle so he can do the last 30 miles to Springer. That would be cool.
Well, that was interesting, mostly because I also follow Quadzilla and I just the other day I watched a mini-documentary about Bricky (the yellow brick) on the trail and how it is believed to have been carried by over 100 people from North Georgia to where it is now and how once it gets to Mt. Katahdin it will have to find a way back to about 30 miles north of Springer Mountain and go SOBO to complete the trail or go to Springer Mt. and go NOBO the 30 miles to complete. Then there was speculation on what might happen to Bricky once it does complete the trek, for instance, will it end up in the trail museum? It was started as a gag between friends and its creator had no idea it would go viral and take off up the trail the way it has. It was actually pretty interesting. If I can find the video, I'll link to it for you Have fun with it Mosey! P.S. Found it: th-cam.com/video/Z5Qvd-EU2eM/w-d-xo.htmlsi=I0IZiY50ygbsbQf0
Your new trail companions are certifiably nuts😂
Last year, there was a magic 8 ball that went up the trail,.. don't know what happened to it after it finished.

I hope you got to meet Quadzilla he's a legend. Pyro is a fruitcake even without being jacked up on Mountain dew.
Mosey, remind those goofballs that Bricky is NOBO for now. Let him hike his own hike. Or is that ride his own hikers? 😊
Bricky summited Katahdin on September 13th. He's got some miles to finish down south to be consider a through hiking brick.
@@schmitzcj Didn't know that. Thanks. Let's hope he makes it.
