Great review, going to get the Zoomfly 6.
@@i.p2088 It's a great shoe, hopefully it works for you
Great review, Sir. I have the Zoom Fly 6, never tried the Magic Speed. For me, I was slightly disappointed in the slow speed comfort of the Zoom Fly 6. My comparison shoe is the SuperBlast 2. The SuperBlast holds its comfort at all speeds. The Zoom Fly 6, for me, was a little firm and flat at slow paces…which seems strange to me. At faster paces/harder efforts, however, the Zoom Fly 6 starts to shine. The midsole really starts to bounce at faster paces and seems to soften a little while maintaining that bounce. Feels really good and holds paces well. I recently did a 10 mile run in the Zoom Fly 6…and ended up with a fat blister on one foot. I attribute that to the laces. The ZF6 has slightly slippery laces, making the lockdown a little difficult. I really like the ZF6 and it will remain in my rotation for some long runs and most of my tempo work. However…if long long miles are required…I will use the SuperBlast 2 or my Alpha Fly 3’s for those. With that said…the ZF6 is more available that the SB2…and is a great shoe for many different efforts…and a highly recommended buy. If you buy it, you will like it.

Thanks for a great review. As a every day runner I would go with Nikes zoom also. Since I would be doing more daily mileages and I don’t “park run” as often.
@@elevenbravo9742 thanks for the comment
Great review…. I love my magic speed 4 for ParkRuns!
@@craigelliott5028 great to hear the MS4 works for you
I have both. Love to switch between the two, completely different feel.
if U had to have one as a softer /more forgiving shoe. which?
@ zoomfly. The magic speed is so stiff and much harder in general.
Magic speed = shorter tempo runs
ZF6 = long tempo runs
@@CCRun34 Bang on!
I agree with you. Good review.
@@TomCantu-q2x thanks for the comment
Does the magic speed soles worn out easily and is it meant for daily use?
I’ve done over 200km in it and it’s held out quite well
660km they are still ok, seems like they can handle 800-1000km depending on you weight
184cm 76kg, size 11US
What is better New Balance SC Trainer v3 or the Nike Zoomfly 6 (disregard price difference)?
@@Decisions4u ZF6 for me... easily! I didn't like the ride of the SC Trainer v3.
@@run-are Thank you for the information...I am debating between the two shoes.
@@Decisions4u just remember that's just my experience in the shoes, you may have a different experience. Best bet would be to go try both on in the store, that way you should get a feel for what feels better.
@@run-are thank you
ZF6 for jogs, tempo and threshold and VPF3s for zone 5 training 😂
