Any knowledge is not the absolute knowledge...If one considers his knowledge as the absolute and the final truth... He has bounded himself and stopped further thinking and growing his knowledge, it's arrogance..or may be he does not care for the truth,he follows what scholars say to not get into any kind of trouble like following those in majority,the narrative...
In a way he becomes enslaved to his mind and ego which is under delusion of absoluteness....
When we say "La ilaha illallah"
There is no god but the God...

So we always need to pray/struggle to come close to that truth... Knowing we will never know the absolute truth in lifetime..The faith is the absolute truth exists but i am not the absolute one, I have to go closer and closer to the absolute one...

Our choices re result of our ego and mind, like a computer processes based on the data it already has...
The superficial I or the ego is an illusion for the true consciousness the real I...
We humans think we re the ego or the body and mind... That is why we have desires, fear, hatred, aspirations, due to sense hormones, social dynamics, narratives, etc...
In reality ego is not real me but the pure/blank consciousness is the real "I"....
Like you exist while you re in deepsleep... That existence is the real You... When there is no ego...
If I want to know the truth I need to become the real "I" and distance myself from what I already know..Else I am the conditioned ego which already thinks it has truth...
Any knowledge cannot be absolute hence ego cannot be real... Those who consider any knowledge absolute that itself is ignorance and arrogance...
Even if god revealed a scripture, it's words can't guide/understood by anyone until God does not want him to be guided... And how will God guide him .. When his ego(pre-narratives) vanishes and he is truly conscious,else he will have his lenses...
Only consciousness can guide... And it cannot happen until the person knows his true self and the superficial self the ego...
Ask hindus if the par-brahm, ishvar, bagwan and devta are the same or different..
Devta means those who give something due to their existence like water, sun, rain,fire, father,mother,etc....
Bhagwan re those humans who exist in material form and have understood the par-brahm or the true self... Like the Bhagwan Adi Shankaraachaary, Bhagwan Rajnish Osho😂... Ram krishna... Rest is exaggerated stories about them to boost the ego of the common masses in their belief...
Ishvar is the creator of the universe and ..
Par brahm is the all knowing the only existence that is... That one consciousness... Who dissociates into many to dream the world for entertainment out of his knowledge...or because jus he can...
Worshipping devta, bhagwan will not help any hindi achieve salvation or truth of their true self...
That will only boost their ego and enslave them to the narrative of scholars/brahmins... By which there will be division among humanity and sense of you and I re separate and hence hatred...in lack of understanding...
Scholars need to uplift consciousness and understanding of the students and not give them lifeless words to make the ego even more bigger..hate for others...
