On earth those kafir (the closed heart) who do not seek repentance they are lost, they will be given everything this earth has to offer so they may forget what life after death has to offer for them, the eternal hell. This is what called istidraj.
Its like God saying to them "i warned you for a long time, i still give you chance, you still breathing but you wont listen, all right then do what you want. Here, eat all of it, i warned you that you get punishment after this."

I think the hardest thing in life is to change his/her religion especially when they have clung onto it for so long & they think their salvation depends on it. I request the team of dawah wise to just be gentle in the end with such persons who are respectful and considerate. Hand them copy of quran and encourage them to meet in a more calm environment if they have further questions. InshaAllah many people will be reverted by these actions. May Allah guide all of us, ameen

I completely agree. It shouldn't become a competition where you try to corner an opponent too much.
As the saying goes, "desperate needs lead to desperate deeds". If you push too hard, they will cling on even harder to their falsehood. Giving dawah to Christians requires taking into account their emotional attachement.
As you can see in the answers of this Christian man, he is holding to certain feelings and assumptions he has although his Scripture does not provide him with the rationale for it. Hence it is important to address his feelings also and not just purely "your Scripture says"....
May Allah guide us all.

If I told you my friend told me of a good investment, you may ask which friend (by name) because I have more than one friend. But since there is only ONE God, he doesn't need a name, as the term God can only mean the one almighty.

The verse does not say that Jesus was before Abraham. He said (allegedly) “Before Abraham, I AM”; not “I was”, where I AM is the name of God. So what the verse is saying is that God existed before Abraham.

Jesus just claiming to be messenger/prophet just like abraham was before.
At best he was claiming to have the authority tat Moses had. Moses was instructed to say I AM to the Israelites to show that he was sent by God. Saying I Am simply means you're sent by God.
That's what Jesus was claiming, that he was sent the same way Moses was sent. The Jews were angry that he was claiming to have the sand authority as Moses.
In their scripture they call prophets and judges and people with authority sent from God 'gods' (lowercase g).
