Very happy to have taken part in this project. As someone who is a huge fan of the concept of lost media. I am really happy to help you with (a very small amount of) research and giving you the inspiration to make a video on this topic! Let's just hope it could get into the right hands, and we could get all the help possible!
I'm very glad that the monster jam lost media is getting some attention. It's really frustrating to see Feld's lack of care regarding the lost media and especially the footage from World Finals considering how important it is. I think it would've been worth at least a mention that the pay-per view broadcasts for world finals 1-3 in full could debatably be considered lost media. They used to be on TH-cam but they were removed for copyright and have been lost since. Thankfully, someone was able to send me World Finals 2's Pay-Per View but I don't have the other two.
Um, Sort of but at the same time, Kind of not really. I feel that while there was a good idea behind the movie, I feel there could've been a better, more coherent, and more easy to follow story.
You forgot one thing about Masters of Metal, that being that an announcer call for Wild Thang was also left in the final release. Otherwise, great video about lost media! I really wish these could be uploaded to TH-cam by either Feld or fans(in fans' case, without fear of a copyright strike). And I really wish that when the pandemic was going on they would've aired this media on NBC Sports(at a reasonable time of course unlike at midnight or 1 A.M. like they used to).
It's a honour to see this video! I honestly did not expect the European Airings topic to take off like it did, it just started out as me wanting to bring it to attention after a lot of people did not believe certain shows were shown in Europe. I remember all of them on TV and had no clue they would become so rare and sought after. My friend Liam will be releasing almost all of the airings very soon and there are still a few to find, but hopefully this might open the door for someone else to bring something forward to the table. Also please show some support for my friend Vale (th-cam.com/channels/oSTw4g03W3eWE9aSdj6-Ww.html), who went by the pita888 name years ago, as he has been a huge help in this search and was the one who first reached out to me on this subject. He had some of the only proof of the European broadcasts and if it wasn't for him, I wouldn't been able to find those photographs. He doesn't focus on Monster Jam content but has some cool F1 gameplay videos. I have also uploaded a few samples of the Euro broadcasts on my channel as a teaser, watch this space as you could be seeing some very rare footage in the near future!

And of course the 2003 Monster Jam regular season & final shows of the 2002 calendar year not being aired. Very fascinating video!

Revisiting this to announce that now 20 years after the initial plans for a movie got scrapped, MJ is about to get a movie made and it’s starring The Rock.
There’s another piece of lost media that I found a long time ago. Apparently Monster Jam was supposed to air on Jetix in Italy (From what I remember) I can find the trailer if you want.
@@MonsterTalkOfficial Now that does make more sense. Knowing that, it still is kinda of interesting that in Urban Assault, the truck appears in The Destroyer's montage.
Another thing I want to point out about the monster jam movie iS that I looked up monster jam movie and I saw the website reddit and I clicked on it and it said lost motorsports film and it led me to the link to the trailer of the monster jam movie on clear channel entertainment and it cost $30 I try to watch it but my mom didn’t want to pay $30 to watch it and I think I saw on a post on Reddit or on clear channel entertainment that somebody was describing the trailer that Alana Austin The girl from Disney appears in the trailer and a theme song is playing in the trailer and they said that all the drivers are betrayed by actors and I really hope one day it will be uploaded onto TH-cam because I actually don’t even know when this lost media of the movie will be recovered
Another not really lost media but forgotten media is the monster jam freestyle highlights from 2008, it was a dvd that I have still and it came in the monster jam game “Path of Destruction”. I used to watch that all the time but it’s weird because they repeat the same clips over and over again in different parts of the dvd.
Something that would be cool but most likely will never happen. I would love to see a movie based on the rivalry/stories of Dennis Anderson and Tom Meents; and the movie would have a similar style to the movie Rush. Obviously you can’t beat Rush but I think the concept has potential. The story of 2 guys who were neck and neck for many years but had a great friendship and respect for one another. 1 guy who wins a lot, is universally loved, but doesn’t have many world titles. The other guy also wins a lot, more polarized, does insane stunts/moves, and has more world titles than anybody else! Idk why but this could be a interesting a movie to see, but I know it will never happen, especially being the same style as Rush…
The Monster Jam movie featuring Monster Mutt would be such an easy fix, just pick a race at a World Finals that Monster Mutt won and use that for the footage of the Finals in the movie. Or better yet, just go through all the World Finals footage you have, pick all the races that Monster Mutt and whoever the main rival for Monster Mutt was gonna be and edit the footage together for the final scene You might have some continuity issues but this is Hollywood, I honestly don't think anyone would notice or care for that matter
