    You made me realize how much hard work is behind the cinematic where you see a bird's eye view of Baldur's Gate. I just saw a city... without thinking how they carefully drew it to be as close as possible to the current Forgotten Realms lore/info.

      *If* it's full release finally arrives. I've become quite pessimistic as their development schedule has been pathetic so far for their team size and what they've been proven to be able to accomplish. After nearly 2 full years still being in the first chapter is just... It's either an embarrassment to Larian, or its an Early Access scam and I'm really hoping it's the former.

    • @tinyrogue1320
      @tinyrogue1320 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@yeetusdeleetus4697 I say cool your jets, friend :) I'd rather wait 5 years for a game that'll then be absolutely amazing than have yet another developer / publisher force a full release after 2 years that only ends up half-baked and full of bugs. Quality over quantity, all the way!

    • @yeetusdeleetus4697
      @yeetusdeleetus4697 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@tinyrogue1320 I fully agree, however at this rate it has been almost 2 years now, and they've added the equivalent of 2 weeks of work with a team 1/16th their size. They aren't working on any game. There's nothing they have to show. It's been 2 years and the 1st Act isn't even complete and they claim the game is ready for a release in 6 months???

    Such a well researched video. I never thought to check the city in the reveal trailer for actual landmarks, the city is freaking massive!

    Can't wait for the full release! BG3, Starfield (thanks modders lol), and the new warzone/mw2 is going to take over my life. Not to mention some other games that are not in my top 3.

    Thank you! Is it possible for you to make a "tour-guide" of every known locations in and around BG, that is revealed in dialogue or ingame text-books of BG3 Act1 Early Access?

    Athkatla has always been the "true" Baldur's Gate of the original 2 games, being more fleshed out, more interesting, more diversified, full of interesting hidden quests and so on. Baldur's Gate City from BG1 just seems mediocre in comparison. Now, with BG3, Larian has a chance to make Baldur's Gate City great again. I say this as a great enjoyer of the first 2 games, in spite of those claiming "what is older is always better": the city itself one of the things Larian has the chance to improve over the previous titles.
