Karon, you are such a talented seamstress. I would love to learn how you actually make and modify your garments. Everything you sew makes me more inspired. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and creativity.
Tammie, thanks for watching. I do have projects that are not as I planned and often have failures, but I learn lessons and adapt as I progress. I know what works for me and will create ideas that change the project a bit. I appreciate you watching and sharing your feedback.
I love your meditative intros with the flowers and flowing water! I find sewing a relaxing, often meditative practice as well. These are great summery fabric busting patterns. I was on the fence about purchasing the Ogden cami. I bought the Pattern Emporium Low-Key Cami instead. I still need to make it. It is a swing style around the hips and has a lot more neckline, bust and strap options. I really like the retro vibes of your cap sleeve top. Fall is on my doorstep already with the changing leaves but thankfully it is warm enough to continue making summer clothing. Thank you for showing us these quick makes! :)
Milly, I, too, find it soothing and relaxing, and I am happy it also comes across the same for you. Fabric busting is a great way to utilize left over fabric. Enjoy the season and enjoy making beautiful pieces while the weather is kind. Happy sewing.
Thank you! I just finished a muslin of M7601 - one of your makes which inspired me to try something new and I love it. It will be very easy breezy on a nature walk.@@cookeka
I like the idea of a shorter facing on the cami. I did the opposite and made a full lining on mine. But it was white, so I felt that a shorter lining or facing would show through. I'll try your method next time. Yours came out lovely!
You did such a beautiful job on the green, polka dot tie front shirt. It looks lovely on you. All those Seam details will keep it in your wardrobe for a long time. Nice job.
As always, beautiful finishing. Your talent for selecting fabric is superb. I so wish that there was a class for ordering quality fabric online. Our fabric stores in my area all closed a few years ago. The national chain in town, offers fabric, but the quality is less than desired. Thanks for all your time and generosity of sharing your makes.
Hi Deborah, I can relate to fabric stores in your area. I also have very limited options - only JoAnn. You just have to start purchasing from fabrics you already know and slowly start purchasing using the details the seller provides in the description. Overtime, you get a few right and gain experience.
Love both of the fabric busting tops. Thanks for taking the time to show these quick makes. Both are great colors on you. I really liked the bias finish on the facing.
Wow! I love your ogden cami hacks. I love how simple and easy modifications transform simple patterns into a beautiful new style. Well done. When I made that mccall's pattern, I made the view with the drawstring in the waist line, and that style didn't look good on my frame 😂 watching your video, I feel I need to revisit that pattern and make the tie version. I don't like midriff tops and facings much either. It's no easy task to get the facings to lay properly! I absolutely 💯 agree! Beautiful green and black polka dot fabric. Love it!!! Beautiful sewing makes! Thanks for sharing.
Hello Maria, you are very kind. I have watched and have been inspired by others, and I learned along the journey. I have a video on how I sew the French seams on the channel.
Ypur work is so perfect you could wear your garments inside out!!! Beautiful sewing
You are truly so kind. Thank you for your encouragement and your time watching.

Both tops came out great. I absolutely love the polka dots! Lots of fun.
Yes, Grace I love the outcome of the polka-dot fabric. It was a fun project.

Hello, I would have probably done the same with a white one, but after making the first, I decided to adjust for comfort.
@rmorine6394 I love that idea as well. I made 3 ogden cami dress hacks last year. I think I'll try this method on a tip this year
Just gorgeous. Your finishing work is phenomenal.
I appreciate your kind feedback. Thank you for watching .
Karon, I don't think it be long before you are drafting your own patterns! Everything you made is beautiful.
Janice, I still struggle with some aspects of sewing and continue to learn from each project. Your words encourage me to keep going. Thank you.
You sew with perfection! Wonderful makes! Love your vlogs!!! GigiW. Aka Nancy from Northern Indiana.

Yep, I understand and can relate. It is often my goal to figure out what works for me.
Give it a shot and watch for that facing😀

Fabulous video thank you. You have inspired me to hack my Donny shirt pattern to have cap sleeves and a tie bottom ❤
You are so welcome! How exciting, enjoy the process and the outcome of that shirt. Thank you for watching.
Both tops are beautiful. I love the one you’re wearing
Thank you, I appreciate your feedback.

Thank you so much, Diane!
The green top is beautiful
Thank you Mattie!
Love the green tops
Thanks for watching... happy you do🙂
Lovely makes. I definitely agree with your alteration on the Ogden Cami. I felt like it was very awkward feeling.
It really is! Thank you for watching Tee. I appreciate your time.
Beautiful makes!
Thanks for watching Lucy.
totally fabulous!
I appreciate your kindness, thank you.
The tops are beautiful 😊
Thank you Zelda.
How did you learn to do the insides so beautifully? You should teach us. I have been inspired.
Hello Maria, you are very kind. I have watched and have been inspired by others, and I learned along the journey. I have a video on how I sew the French seams on the channel.
Hey luv polka dots! Great look!😊
Thank you! Arleathia.
Beautiful, beautiful sewing, how long have you been sewing and are you self taught?
Hello Edith, I have been sewing since 2017. I am self-taught learning from watching videos and many trial and errors.
True bias pattern. I have a dress pattern.
